I ask this here because of all the nuts in the Religion and Spirituality. But doesn't religion and its talk of 'sin' and 'morality', both of which change from generation to generation and from culture to culture, try to control behavior, law, sexual ownership, maintaining the staus quo? It seems to concern itself with pie in the sky very little, actually.

I know I have not been on Yahoo for very long , but do you think you have a responsibility to answer some questions with a little thought. For instance do you think about why the questioner has asked a specific question.
I have just answered one in the last few minutes to a child who is probably very scared and some answers are so stupid and dangerous. Is this whole thing to be taken as a joke...is it just for points.....or should we really think carefully about our answers.....I would appreciate decent answers but then I suppose I can expect the worse...do your best.

I'm muslim and everytime i read peoples common they write that muslims bad,smelly,dirty something lik that but IT IS NOT TRUE if you muslim you must read "NAMAZ" 5 times in one day and before "NAMAZ" you should get shower,clean then you can read. I am learing namaz but i can't read 5 times
because of high school and sportsbut i can rea 2 times...

When its WORLD HISTORY, (STUPID KIDS) which is my classmate says america shoul NUKE IRAQ,IRAN,AFGHANISTAN but why? That Terrorist are not muslim and if you read QURAN book that muslim people not allowed to kill, to say bad words stuff like if the do they go to (HELL)

Some stupid guys says bad about muslim religion but hey ALL PEOPLE BELIEVE TO ONE GOD and they want to go to HEAVEN, all MUSLIM,CHRISTIAN,JEWISH so i dont know why they still think that ?

Last night I was baptized...and like building up to that point I was all gittery and stuff, being excited and all...and then I went into the water and I felt nothing.

It was like, my stomach/nerves calmed down and I felt peaceful...like I didn't think about anything(except being under water) and all my worries what had been bothering me lately had basically gone away.

Was yours kindof like that?

A REASON, A SEASON, A LIFETIME

People always come into your life for a reason, a season and a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, or to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually. They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are. They are there for a reason, you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die, Sometimes they just walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But only for a season. And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall, the season eventually ends.

LIFETIME, relationships teach you a lifetime of lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being part of my life.....

I use to work in the city and I had many people who ask me for money on any given day. One time someone ask me if I would give him money to breakfast? I told him, come with me and I will by you Mcdonalds. He looks at me like I just slapped him! He told me no and walked away?? I guess I know what he was going to do with the money he ask for huh? The sorrow must have been so overwhelming, I doubt they could---they would have had to move. This is a Faith that had a law against boiling a calf in it's Mother's milk, so it would have been like they cared more for calfs then for humans.
