over the previous huge reporting spree, the onslaught bolstered a feeling of community among a lot of people who have been dropping Q&A. regrettably, that translated into an us v them mentality and everybody who grow to be outdoors of that us grew to grow to be a objective for suspicion, derision and scorn. severe questions and solutions have been considered by using many as an attack on human beings's astounding to goof off in R&S. Even something so hassle-free as stating that there was room for the two might draw grievance. The sub-communities of contributors of minority religions have been those that have been broken. yet no longer from the reporting. extra human beings left because of the point of hostility directed in the direction of people who had to debate non secular subjects heavily or purely weren't called being area of that considerable community. That experience of community among atheists and their pick group of buddies got here on the cost of the numerous smaller communities which delivered a super variety to R&S. yet i'm guessing you're actually not talking approximately that loss. The community is the contributors, no longer the posts - particularly whilst human beings so infrequently situation with the information. previous posts are the area of newshounds and unsuspecting persons who stumble in from a google seek for advice. From what i've got considered, the communities of the dominant cliques are as solid as ever.

Spiritual death leads to spiritual ignorance.
Scripture teaches that to man, the things of God are foolishness, because they are spiritually discerned.
God must reach down and place His spirit within you, and give you faith, in order for you to see and understand the deep things of God. Read 1 Corinthians chapter 2.
In order to receive this spirit we must repent (turn around) from our sin and ask forgiveness. He will place His spirit within us and we shall understand, and have the power to walk in His Light and truth.

People don't think about religion.
"Why are you (insert religion of your choice here)?"
More often than not, the person you asked will say "My parents are," or "I don't know."
Religion, Christianity especially, is very good at brainwashing young people into believing they're right. If you've been taught something your whole life, it's really hard to just suddently disagree with it.
People are ignorant because all they know is what they've been told.

Focusing on the physical. For some, it is focusing on the letter of the law; the old covenant.

It is curable by focusing on the Spirit, and abandoning the letter.

The primary cause of spiritual ignorance is blind faith.

Yes, ignorance is curable by logic and evidence.

Aldous Huxley wrote, "Most ignorance is vincible ignorance. We don't know because we don't want to know."

In my case, I investigated spirituality for many years and finally dismissed it as complete nonsense, yet people will incorrectly label me as "spiritually ignorant." If anything, I've become enlightened by the lack of such absurd things.

When the Word of God is sown in a barren heart, the devil quickly takes that word right out of their heart so they cannot believe and be saved.

"Spiritual" isn't really defined. It's generally a word used because it sounds more authoritative than "emotional". So, it is really those who pretend that "spiritual" really is a "deep" subject that are most ignorant about it.

The only real cure for such superstitious nonsense is education.
