It's all in our own perception and how we try to make sense of the world. Can't really measure such things on something that is round...
I mean...perhaps what we see as north and south isn't. Maybe our view of the world is upside down. Or perhaps the orbit of the earth is not what we think, spinning around the sun, but rather it's rolling around it, going over and under it.

I thought east and west were continueallt touching since on earth, there will always be something west of you and east of you, unless you fing the geographical northern or southern poles, then everything is either south or north.
