Is this a closely guarded secret?
It seems as though everyone wants to know the answer, even the ones that are sure, they have found the "Way".

Some people say that if at one point in their lives they "accept Christ as their personal Savior," then they will get to heaven. They may lead good lives after this acceptance, but they think that living a good life is not necessary. Their salvation is certain. It cannot be undone. They just "know" for sure that they have been saved.
What does the Bible say about salvation?
Who will be saved?
How will one be saved?
What is involved in being saved?

What does your church teach about salvation?

You may have been reading my recent questions about concerning my sexuality. I have been confused for awhile and now I have to accept who I am. I do not like girls sexually and there is nothing I can do about it. I am a Roman Catholic and If my some of my family members don't accept me so be it. I am who I am. How can I not go back in denial. It can't be a phase because this has been going on for over a year. Please support for who I am because I am gay?

There is considerable debate, and NO contemporaneous evidence, as to whether Jesus of Nazareth ever existed. Sorry, Baha'i, Christians and Muslims (who all acknowledge him). We KNOW that the pharoah (Ramses II) existed, but no one to my knowledge has ever shown any evidence that Moses existed. Sorry, Baha'i, Christians, Muslims and Jews (who all acknowledge him).

Are there any NON-religious sources of references to Buddha during the time he was supposed to have lived? I don't know! You tell me!

There are MANY references to Mohammed in NON-religious sources DURING his lifetime.

IS he the only one?

Wow!! Don't you love being told by a total stranger on the internet what you believe?

The KJV Bible says:

Col 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

This one has me confused, why worship angels in adition to GOD/JESUS/HOLY SPIRIT?

Absolutely. I arrived home at 9:15 p.m., unfortunately, the ride back was alone. The doctors want to keep my hubby a couple of more days. Bad reaction to a medication. Phooey.

Thank you for all your support and for caring. It means more than you can know.

These two convieniently are apparently the only 2 sons of Zerubbabel not mentioned anywhere in 1 Chronicles (or anywhere else in the OT). We also see in the OT that the geneology actually ends after Zerubbabel, there is no more line to extend from David to jesus.

I am sure some of you will bring up Zerubbabel's foreign, non existant wife that is mentioned nowhere. If you are please provide at least some evidence of this persons existance..

asker: "who says the Bible is God's words?"

fundie: "God said so"

asker: "how?"

fundie: "it's in the Bible"

asker: "is there any way to back up that claim?"

fundie: "yes the Bible can back it up"

asker: "what if the Bible is not God's words?"

fundie: "it can't be, the Bible said it is"

asker: "but how can you defend your Bible without using the Bible?"

fundie: "the Scripture (quoting verses in the Bible) said this and that, therefore it is..."

by the way, don't tell me it's "words of wisdom", because it really doesn't sound like it.
