Lately, I have been coming across articles and such which point to the fact that Charles Darwin was a racist, and believed that blacks are inferior to whites. I also watched a program called "The religion of Evolution", in which it stated that Darwin was a racist. Any comments on this?

Luke 17:21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you

John 14:20
At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

John 10:34
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Please consider your answers carefully because either this is the road to truth or blasphemy.

If my mother walks into a room she's not supposed to be in, where confidential information lay--a room she was told never to go in by superiors--should I be punished? And my children? And my children's children?

They should be, right?

Think about that. How much sense does that make? That's not justice. That's injustice. It's not morality. That's a JOKE.

Faith is different from proof....the latter is human...the former is a gift from God.

Do you or do you not agree. Why?

When is he age where a teen should stop btrick-or-treating? Of course, there are some teens who throw on some cat ears and head out with a pillowcase to get free candy. it is understandable to discourage these people. However, some people have flat-out refused candy to kids over 12, no matter how much effort they had put into a costume, how polite they were, or what time they came. I think this is wrong. If a teenager wants to put on a costume and be a kid for one night a year, people shouldn't stop them.
Thoughts?

Today in a store, I asked what I thought was a gentleman from behind to step aside and addressed him as 'sir'. It ended up being a very masculine woman.

How should I correct myself in this situation?

Should I apologize then correct myself or should I ignore it as not a big deal?

because evolution takes survival of the fittest, and if you arent smart enough to survive these days, you have all those people out there draging you around like they actually have to...

Many people use secular music at funerals now, but my father died in 1976. He requested that no organ music be played, and Sound of Silence was one of three songs he requested be played at his funeral. It was not a common practice, and turned heads at the visitation and the funeral. I have never heard any story for the inspiration of that song. I will also take a minute to apologize for missing answering all my contacts questions. I have been sick. Not to worry, but I am recovering slow. I miss all of you.

There was this poor, old farmer. Obviously, he didn't own the farm. It was on a lease. As he was poor, he had no money. One day, a traveller passed through the farm. Tired from his journey, the man knocked at the farmhouse and asked a glass of water. The farmer had no fresh, cold water at that time, but he had some fresh milk. The guest drank the milk, thanked his host, and went on his way. The farmer never heard from him again for a long time, until one day, his wife got sick. The hospital bill was high, and so, they couldn't pay. Then, they were told that the wife could now go home. Surprised, the farmer looked at the bill. On the bottom was written: "Paid in full by the glass of milk." Amazing, isn't it? That was a true story. I heard that from my sister who read it somewhere else.
