I have been emailing some people and things are going well, then suddenly YA won't send them. So if I am not answering any of your emails, that's why. I do, but get a failure notice.

To email another YA person, click on their picture. It takes to you their home page. On the right side will be their email in blue. Yahoo sends it so that no one knows your real email address. You can reply. Sometimes I just want to make a personal comment or ask a question to someone privetly. Thaat's how you do it!

I've had that prolbem expect mine is when I would send forwards to someone it came back as mailer daemon but the email would go through fine never figured out what was wrong. Have you tried contacting yahoo and asking them?

I've had trouble reaching the mail site today. I get a sign telling
me that they are working on a problem, that is taking more
time than usual.
I haven't been able to send emails to a couple of Yahoo chat
rooms, I get a note saying I'm not a member. And I am stymied on what to do with that. So I have to just wait and use
my ISP mail instead later.
So anyway, I guess it is a temporary thing with the email
site. So hopefully you'll be able to send as normal tomorrow
or the next day.

Yes, this has happened to me too. I told the people I was e-mailing and I wasn't on their "blocked" list, so I knew it had to be something else. I'd write again and sometimes it went through.

I finally realized the ones being returned were going to a 'hotmail' address. When I actually followed the links in my returned e-mail I found hotmail said my e's may be being returned if I had firewalls, security, etc. (in addition to other reasons that I knew were not the case) That may be true with others besides hotmail too, I'm not sure. It had nothing to do with me sending from yahoo, it was who I sent it too. That's just what happened in my case.

A mailer Daemon address is means the message is undeliverable, usually because the address you are sending it to does not exist. It is very easy to mistype an address. Double check the address you typed or have in your address book to make sure it is accurate. If it still keeps happening, maybe contact your freind another way and see if they changed it or canceled their account

If you clicked on an little picture to send a msg and it comes back then that person gave a bogus address for a contact. Do not despair, they don't want to hear from anyone.

Normally I do not do it. YA on YA only. In one case a heiress from Liberia now staying in Rome had asked me some advise on investment. I e-mailed the answer but there was no response. On the face of it the QA was suspect. of a heiress asking for advis on investment Most probably a fraud.

With family in SA, and friends in SA, USA, London, and other places, and daughter in Melbourne, I use EM a lot.

I don't get a lot of MAILER DAEMON messages.

You will only get this notice
when there is something
wrong with the address.
Either the address was given
wrong by the addressee or
you may have typed it wrong.
remember, just one wrong
character, and it don't mail.

So far...the only time I have received that notice is when I've sent it to the wrong address, or the address has changed.
