What if your religion were the same thing that it currently is, minus the afterlife part? (Don't give me, "It wouldn't be the same thing, now would it?) I mean if everything besides the afterlife part remained intact, would you still be part of it?
Would you switch over to one of the other religions that also offers an afterlife?
Is the promise of an afterlife the main draw in religions?

How do you feel about the many spanish/mexican immigrants in this country that do not know how to speak english? Also, do you feel that it is necessary for everything in english to be translated to spanish for their convenience? Do you think EVERYONE who lives in this country should know how to speak english?

I majored Architectural Engeneering and I'm gonna get a job of the 3rd sector. I'm looking for a organization which is the best fit to me. I know Habitat already but I want more informations about the organizations of that field. I don't care the location, I want some organization located in Europe or the region using English as a primary language. I'm not insisting to do a job having with Architecture but in my opinion, my major would be helful to get a better job when I get into a relative organization. Please give me good informations. Thank you!

I'm really a pagan. But I think I should let her know slowly. Do you think I should say I'm a agnostic first and then wait a few years then tell her I'm a pagan? I can't keep pretending to be a Christian. I'm good at it but I'm about to burst when I get asked questions about what jesus does and etc etc and have to do bible verses. I just want to shout "I DON'T BELIEVE IN THIS!" Please help me!

What if you were praying, and God/Allah/YHWH/Buddha, whichever you worship, apeared to you. And told you that you had choosen the wrong religion? Most religions state flat-out that a true visitation can not be faked, that when it happens you will -know- with utter certainty that this is the truth. So you wouldn't be able to explain it away. But, honestly, you'd try, wouldn't you?
