I don't completely understand the question, but in a few words, yes. I do believe that spirits can live in one place untill they are freed. Well, actually, it depends on the spirit. Some immediatly rise to Heaven, and some stick around. Personally, I believe that it is a choice tht the spirit makes. Some are forced to stay in one place until someone helps them rise, but others make a choice, of when to rise. Mabye some stick around to say their last goodbyes, or mabye they just want to haunt one last enemy! ;) Hope I helped!!

Technically a "spirit" is not bound. They are guides, ancestors, protectors, &/or are free because their souls are at peace.
However, a "ghost" would be bound. Even a ghost can choose to move on whenever they wish (they don't usually realize this). Most times thay have bound themselves, because they have unresolved issues (Anger &/or Confusion over a sudden passing, so that they don't realize that they are dead). Their souls are not at peace, & they sometimes need help finding their way.
I don't believe in demons. Only the goodness & misguidedness of souls.

In the Book of Daniel in the Bible, Gabriel was held up 21 days by an evil spirit called the Prince of Persia. Not only are they bound to places, but they are like a military and assigned to given areas. The fallen angels have ranks just as our normal military. Some take the appearance of men and some are very hideous and beast like. Satan is the leader.

I do believe that--as the solar energy is absorbed into the objects and places, so the energy of the spirits remains imprinted in objects and places.

there are lots of different kinds of spirits...and i do think that there are some who are attached to places because they are stuck there and cannot move forward.
