There was this poor, old farmer. Obviously, he didn't own the farm. It was on a lease. As he was poor, he had no money. One day, a traveller passed through the farm. Tired from his journey, the man knocked at the farmhouse and asked a glass of water. The farmer had no fresh, cold water at that time, but he had some fresh milk. The guest drank the milk, thanked his host, and went on his way. The farmer never heard from him again for a long time, until one day, his wife got sick. The hospital bill was high, and so, they couldn't pay. Then, they were told that the wife could now go home. Surprised, the farmer looked at the bill. On the bottom was written: "Paid in full by the glass of milk." Amazing, isn't it? That was a true story. I heard that from my sister who read it somewhere else.

I think that's a great story, and it sounds true, or at least plausible; there have been somewhat similar stories on the news about people doing those kinds of things; most notably a few years ago, when a guy was in a restaraunt, and struck up a conversation with his waitress (who also provided great service to him for his meal, et c), and the guy ended up leaving her a tip for something like $10'000 (I forget the exact amount).

If it is a true story it confirms the saying that what goes around comes around, if it isn't a true story it is still a lesson in loving thy neighbour, compassion and all that great teachers taught us. Why shouldn't it be true! Stranger things have happened to people that have done good, and in some way been repayed. The moral is do good and good will come back to you, which I believe 100%

The Bible does say we may be visited by angels unaware. Good story, I don't even care if it's true or not. It fits right into what I believe anyhow.
Peace

Sounds unbelievable but, I've discovered from personal experience, that indeed, truth can be stranger than fiction.
