Thank you, another example of the "Christian" contradictory philosophy which not only do I not understand but most rational thing people can't as well.
Over and over and over, I see on this site those that do not believe in our God or question His existence & even HATE God. Why? Things are “told” to them about God they can’t make logical sense of. How can one believe when they are taught of rules, laws and standards; yet when we teach them about God we tell them that He can break all the rules, laws and standards? That God is omnipotent, all knowing and unchanging and since he made these laws, he can surely break them.
They base their rational on the many “Christian” based religions that one has to accept the free gift purchased by Jesus to go to heaven & if not they will burn in Hell forever. Logical people view this as completely going against all rational thinking.
This rational of most “Christian” religions explains how both of these choices are possible, God saves or we save; "He made the laws, He can change them". However; if that were the case then God is not omnipotent nor all knowing nor unchanging. If God is all knowing, unchanging; THEN He is omnipotent. If God changed just one single law, how are we to know what other laws he changes? Doesn’t this make a God of ciaos thus a God of ciaos would create a world of ciaos with no laws, rules or standards, at least none we knew were stable?
Jesus lived & taught us that his life was an example for us to follow. We tell our children, to do as I say or we will chastise them. Why, because we are following Jesus’ example. When they err, we assist them with all the power available to us & use tough love if necessary; but never do we do anything to destroy or harm them. As truly loving parents we would lay down our life for our children. Why, because we love them, we loved them long before they loved us. We love them even if they don’t love us, we may not love their ways but love them. We are following Jesus’ example.
We taught them that God sent His only Beloved Son & sacrificed Him for our sins. That God is omnipotent, loving, & longsuffering toward us; yet He will not help nor save us if we don’t love him or accept His death for us. Those that question this rational say we teach of a God requiring blood & sacrifice & so loving he has a place for torment even for those he loves but don’t love or accept Him. Once again this is contradictory.
An answer recently to our loving omnipotent God addresses this contradictory philosophy exceedingly well:
“Love me or else you will be tormented in Hell”. Certainly you have CHOICE but you do not have FREE WILL to make that choice. That by definition, freewill is free from fate and coercion. Now what would TRULY be freewill is if there was NO punishment and NO reward & you were simply told “Love me or not, it’s up to you.” Then you would be making the choice unfettered from ANY fear or threat or anticipation of reward. As a parent, I want my kids to love me because THEY CHOOSE to. What kind of parent would I be if I had to bribe my kids or threaten them with punishment to get their love & respect? Is that TRUE love?"
Who is greater then, man’s will or God’s? One or the other is wrong, either God is omnipotent & saves us against our will or He is not omnipotent and cannot save us against our will, or He is talking about being saved from two separate things making both answers possible.
For the sake of those who question the existence of God and need rational answers, we have to make up our minds and stop teaching things which cannot make sense to them. If we continue as we are then we cannot or should not tell them how wrong they are not to believe or accept God unless we can justify our answers.
If anyone takes offence to this, then so be it. But when you see an inflammatory response to the existent of God, think twice before you judge those who question your philosophy of God.

If you love someone. Let it go. If it does not come back then it was never yours from the beginning. It it come back to you. It always have been yours. My wife does not agree with this statement. A women think differently from us man. I think this statement has its truth, if you believe in fate. I tend to side my wife in that life and love is like a car, you are at the steering wheel. You decide where it goes. Since there are many predators and grabber of good things it is better to shield your love ones so that it is always yours.

"God says do what you wish, but make the wrong choice and you will be tortured for eternity in hell. That sir, is not free will. It would be akin to a man telling his girlfriend, do what you wish, but if you choose to leave me, I will track you down and blow your brains out. When a man says this we call him a psychopath and cry out for his imprisonment/execution. When god says the same we call him 'loving' and build churches in his honor. " — William C. Easttom IIt.

No it doesn't sound "reasonable"...nor does it sound like what God does. The saying goes, "if they don't, they never were"...and that's exactly what God is saying. Return to me or face the wild unknown on your own. God doesn't "torture them in hell for eternity", he loves them in heaven for eternity...if they don't want that, that's their choice. If you want to think of hell as God's eternal torture chamber, be my guest.
...but why are you so eager to believe that human perception about God when you don't want to believe all the other ones?

well, there is the free will thing. You don't have to go to hell, which by the way is just God's complete absence.

No! If they don't return to you after repeated attemps to get them to and all they do is try to discredit you and what you believe, then do what you feel is right to that person. If the shoe fits wear it.
