When I see those beautiful newspaper photos of golden anniversarys I often thing here are people of character. They must have had losses, hurts, health problems all the common problems and yet they stuck it out. With forgiveness for hurts, transgressions, wrongs, slights they conquered time. What do you think or have you experienced.

for G-D said "Let there be light " first day. Jesus said that you don't hide the light under a basket and also said they would rather worshipped the creation more than their creator meaning him self. he also said that he is the true light of this world.

Surely a direct relationship with God and or Christ is more important than the Bible. Surley it is possible to have that relationship in the absence of the Bible, remembering that many have claimed such a relationship who have not known the Bible eg the Saints of Medievel europe who were often illiterate pesants at a time when the Bible was in Latin.

Is it anything? I don't see you asking each other "hey fellow atheist prove to me there is no God" or "what haven't you found lately".All many of you do is bash the faithful and leave it to them to do all the proving. The believers at least are asking each other intelligent questions that they actually want the answers to.The truth, maybe you just can't handle the truth.

It's time to reconsider the basics.
For the purpose of this question I only ask that you answer based on the notion that the Kingdom of God exist. I don’t specify this to disrespect any group. The Kingdom of God could also be considered by any other descriptions that match the experience.

Thank you for your thoughtful answers.

He knew it and studied it and often quoted from it! If he read and knew the OT, then why is it that some Christians feel that it can be discarded? Is it not important to know and also learn from it? I do not think any part of the Bible should be diminished by God fearing people! What say you? Please keep your comments respectful....even if you disagree!

First of all, im not racist to all race.
I believe thats its a stereotype that all blacks got bigger package and all asians got small package?..wtf.
I looked for similar questions and 7/10 women say that its a stereotype..

What you see in porn movies is not the same in reality. In Asia, porn business is not booming like in the US that has an empire and etc..

Is it true?..ladies?..

I have benefited from believing in a generic "higher power" even while at church. It makes my life better & easier.I seem to ignore the specifics of religion but I still feel a spiritual life is a benefit.

A Mormon in the neighborhood saw me replacing a shingle roof and doing other home repairs. Then he said he didn't think I was a "real woman."
His wife never does any work outside. She doesn't even help him shovel when there is a heavy snowfall.
Are Mormon women too intimidated to do certain kinds of work for fear of being maligned?

This is out of curiosity...I'm not trying to imply who should like whom. However, I've heard ttha many young Southern white women (who, theoretically, should be more tolerant than older Southern white women) hate it when black guys check them out or put the moves on them. It's no skin off my nose, as I don't live in the South...I'm just wondering what the real story is.

Do you think that P&S people are allowed to answer R&S questions that are not related to Religion? Sometimes I would like to join in, but I feel I don't really belong here, so I feel shy....

but you seem nice people... Are we in competition? Like P&S vs R&S? I hope not!

Or maybe three?

I've been listening to the church folks, and I have to agree: one big bang is not enough.

As for god himself, who's to say he too was not created by a larger more formidable god?

(Yes, that's where I differ with the church folks, but they may yet come around to this other way of thinking.)

I've even heard the suggestion that the bigger god may also have been created by a still bigger and still more formidable god.

This is all very exciting !
What say you, kind people of the Yahoo Answers?

I am growing weary of protestants calling my Church and my Pope "antichrist" every time I post a real, thoughtful question. Here are a couple of quotes for you:

1 John 2:22 - Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.

1 John 4:3 - and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.

Now, you may not agree with the Pope on doctrine, but He preaches Christ, and he does NOT "...deny that Jesus is the Christ", as it says in 1 John 2:22. So, for all you people who tell this Catholic to read his Bible, I say read YOUR Bible, and stop being an ignorant bigot. You want to find an antichrist? Find someone who REJECTS Christ!

We never know when we're going to die. You might be on your way to work and die in a bridge collapose. You might be on a plane and die while crashing into the twin towers.

You just never know.

How do you feel about this?

And if so - do you believe that Love is powerful?

My Spiritual beliefs are quite simple. I believe that God is Love. The Power of Love. We can tap into It and use It to make our lives better. If God is the way I see It - would it be safe to say that you believe in God? Why? Why not?

Just for the record - I don't believe in sin or hell. I'm not sure about an afterlife.

Thanks for your input.

Namaste!
