I am referring to people who seem to be abused for choices they never made....
Dont you feel for people who have to hide in darkness....to prevent the colour of their skins from being realized?
Dont you feel for fellow human beings mocked for following a certain religion, by others who keep on insisting they are the only ones who are right?

Havent they(the discriminators) thought that the "odd one" in a group also has a heart, a life - blood flowing through his veins, a mother and father who loves (or loved) him?Maybe, maybe he/she has some talent that may shake the world for the better? Why not give him a good chance?

My request to those who are reading this:
You may know atleast someone who is held back by those who despise him/her. He/she may be the odd one,but so what? Why not give him a chance?Push back the haters -Give him/her your friendship and dont let the haters push him/her back any further. Give him something to cheer about!

I will thank everyone who read this :)

Who else is fed up of these charity adverts about African poverty, trying to make us feel guilty if we where the ones that made them poor. It is historic fact that Africa has never been as rich as it was when under European control, and when we left the countries we left them with the infrastructure to carry on civilized and have a growing economy. But did it?!?!? No, they squabbled and ruined the place and now they blame us, and look for our support at the same time. Why our they constantly trying to make us feel guilty?

Im a manager at a local company. Im the only manager out of the other 3 whom dont view their work before their family. Im the one doesn't take the "im a manger listen to me NOW' attitude. This has caused me great hassle. Im flat out ready to quit. I just found out last Fri. that on this coming Wed. I have to have surgery on my wrist and will be off for 2 or more weeks. The boss flipped out (Sept. is the busiest time of yr for us). That was the last straw. I have 24 sick days that I want to use before I resign. So the question is...Do I use up my sick time then give a 2 week notice? OR Do I use my sick time, come back then give a 2 wk notice? I dont want to go into work again..I hate that place. I also have put ads out to babysit and in 3 days found 3 kids to watch, which means I can start watching them asap. What should I do?

I am not a racist!I love and respect all religions and cultures BUT:I look at my country Greece and see that what i used to love about it is changing.Europe is mixing as people from all over especialy in our case Albania and China start to move in and chnage the way things were. The little neighbourghood shops i used to like visiting are now closing. They can not compete with the Chinese immigrants that import products and sell at the markets. The streets are full of Nigerians selling copy DVD nad CD.Nice people who are searching for a better life but is it fair to allow them into our country so that in 50 years time we are just another America with no culture and a boiling pot of people who dont get along?
This is an open question i honestly am still forming a view on the subject so dont slam me as a bigot!

And the trees are not poisonous. One tree is the tree of wisdom. And the other tree is of eternal life. Both trees are the best in the whole garden of Eden. God should have told Adam, "Don't miss these two trees! Anything else you can miss, but these two trees you should not miss." On the contrary, He says to Adam and Eve, "Don't do this." Why?

I have been asking this question for years - never have I received an answer that makes sense let alone be seen as adequate in a court of law cos y'all duck down behind scriptural bullshit.

Tell me (and all my girls - Frank Zappa - Mudshark), tell me and all my girls, why was I lucky enough to have been born with intelligence, in affluence, given every opportunity in a xian Kultcha to hear the word of 'god' and the poor native in the New Guinea Highlands (or the native in central Oz or the native born into absolute starvation in Darfur) were given NONE of the same advantages BUT 'god' still expects them to perform as I; 'he' expects us all to come to him willingly no matter what the obstacles and ONLY ONE LIFETIME TO DO IT IN.
My question?
Why was I born so lucky to have had all the opportunities handed to me on a platter?

They can't answer that cos their religion is a sham and their philosophy is sentimental at best and cruelly deficient at worst.
Although interesting answers will be good I just know I’m gonna get some fundie one-liners that make absolutely no sense.

Can anyone truly define God. We can't even define the universe that He spoke into existence. Then when I say this is what God is, what happens to God in my life?Wouldn't it be better to let Him be God and follow where He leads?

Somebody committing a sin 5000years ago and you are still miserable for his sin? That seems to be absolutely unjust! If he did commit the sin, God made him suffer. Why should we be suffering? We were never a part of it. If anybody has to suffer, it should be God Himself, because in the first place what was the need of creating those two trees? If man was not allowed to eat from them, it was so simple-God should not have created those two trees..Then, even if He had created them, what was the need to tell Adam not to eat from those two trees?because I don't think that Adam, on his own, even by now would have found those two trees. Among the millions of trees, it would have been just a coincidence if Adam had found them. But God showed him the trees, saying, "These are the two trees, and you are not to eat from them." To tell somebody not to do something is to provoke them, It is not the snake who really persuades Adam and Eve, it is God's "don't" that hits hard; and they become curious.

The result would be that all the leeches waiting in line to move up the ladder would be dumped, and any future monarchs would have to be from Spencer blood. One way to clean up Britain.

....are you planning? Have you notified your family, spouse, significant other or domestic partner of your wishes? Will it be a religious ceremony? Will there be a preist, preacher, pastor? Will they read any scripture?

I ask because I heard Kathy Griffin the comedian say on her Bravo show that even though she didn't believe it gave her comfort to have a traditional religious burial for her own father. And I thought how could she be comforted if she doesn't believe?!?

And then I wonder why it is so hard for an unbeliever to understand how much strength and peace and comfort our faith provides for us EVERY SINGLE DAY, not just when a loved one dies???

Be very interested in your comments.

....mean to you?

To me, since all the ones who passed by and didn't help were religious and the one who stopped and did help was an infidel, it means that our works are more important than our faith.

Do you agree?

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Gensis 1, The Creation)

Scientists have now proven that the earth and all the other planets in the solar system, and even the Sun, formed after a star exploded at the end of its life and left behind a nebula, because otherwise, heavier elements such as gold could not be present in the earth's crust.

What would you say to someone who pointed this out to you? Please don't feel I'm attacking your religion, I'm just a very curious person. I asked my Christian friends. They're regular church goers and said they'd try and find out an answer but they haven't so far.

I just want to be more informed about your religion, that's all, so if any Christian brother or sister can provide a good response to this, I'd be very grateful. No atheists etc please, I don't want answers insulting Christianity or any other form of theism.

Thanks

Was he silenced? Mary was left alone so she could back up the whole virgin story? Who wrote about the Nativity? I mean who was there? Mary was the only one who could have told the story. And with no Joseph to set the record straight... Well you get the meaning. Poor guy, how can you hold a candle to the almighty?

enjoy it.

Was this real, it seams a bit weird to me?

Please don't report me, This is a genuine question.
