If you set your mind to it, could you find a feasable argument?
Alot of atheists have been raised to know about how fossils and things developed, but the cambrian explosion is near enough to the bible's version, and the big bang is arguable as an act of god surely? after all, who came up with the laws of the universe?
I think the main reason this stuff is so difficult to believe is the people who argue it seem to not have all the facts, in fact dismiss scientific findings as 'jiggerypokery' (in fact an argument I heard was if your 'science' is so correct, then why is it's theories constantly changing?') and even do the atheist cause alot of good every time they type their insane ravings in.

Muslim countries today adhere to a strict interpretation of Islam. Sometimes this gives rise to extremism and terrorism enforcing a literal interpretation of the Koran. The Muslim world today is largely controlled by religious authorities forbidding freethinking, open dialogue and questioning, much like Europe during the Dark Ages under the Catholic popes who persecuted people for disagreeing with them. In the 1500s, Christian Europe underwent a radical transformation where people like Luther and Calvin started questioning key Catholic doctrines and encouraged freethinking and made the Bible accessible to all people. They also got rid of several restrictions of the church, like celibacy and indulgences. In doing so they helped to free Christianity from religious tyranny.
Do u think it's time the Muslim world gets liberalised? Do u think there should be a 'Reformation' of Islam?
A liberal Muslim world = less opportunities for extremist terrorists who give Islam a bad name!

I love the real trees beacuse of the smell and thats what I was brought up with. I wont ever purchase an artificial tree for my house...its just not Christmas to me. I go out every year December 1 and get my tree and we decorate the next day.

“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat:
and it was so." Genesis 1:29-30

"The early Christian fathers adhered to a meatless regime...many early Christian groups supported the meatless way of life.

In fact, the writings of the early Church indicate that meat eating was not officially allowed until the 4th century, when the Emperor Constantine decided that his version of Christianity would be the version for everyone.

A meat eating interpretation of the Bible became the official creed of the Roman Empire, and vegetarian Christians had to practice in secret or risk being put to death for heresy.

Pagan Rome has such an influence upon Christianity.

I mean come on, God how do you know he's real? You've never seen him, there is no proof of him. I mean how can you blindly believe in something that is most likley false? It's brainwashing. Since you were little someone told you these lies, and they're drilled into your head.

I feel sorry for you, man, really. Because when the time comes when you realize you're all alone in this world and there will be no God or Jesus to help you, you'll learn you wasted your life on false idols.

It is astonishing what happens to stories when young Bible scholars retell them: From a chapter "Fractured English," published by Pocket Books.

The Bible is full of many interesting caricatures. Michael Angelo painted them on the Sixteen Chapels.

The first five books of the Bible are Genesis, Exodus, Laxatives, Deuteronomy, and Numbers. In the first book of the Bible, Guinesses, God got tired of creating the world, so he took the Sabbath off. Adam and Eve were created from an apple tree. One of their children, Cain, asked, "Am I my brother's son? My punishment is greater than I can bare."

Noah's wife was called Joan of Ark. But she only answered to Jean because she could not speak English. He built an ark, which the animals came on to in pears. Lot's wife was a pillar of salt by day, but a ball of fire by night.

Saddam and Gomorrah were twins. Sodom and Gomorra was destroyed in the Earthquakes (and fire) of 1906 & 19

Tiny marine life (fossilized) shows up on its surface, it is in-fact made up of sediment from an ancient inland sea, most of the limestone I've worked with comes from Indiana. When this life was alive and active what was God thinking, because there were no church builders at the time, and there would'nt be for another million years.

Christian peace keepers are in the Middle East trying to end this bloody war the Muslims have waged against America by flying jet liners into our World Trade Centers. Catholic churches are housing and feeding thousands of people due to the Hurricane Katrina disaster. Southern Catholic churches donated over $50,000,000 to the hurricane katrina victims and they do not get a thank you from anyone..

But I never see unbelievers bashing or insulting the satanists or Devil worshippers that burn down churches or spray paint 666 on the side of churches.

This world has gone mad. Just like the bible said it would.

Notice how the unbelievers will never condemn the evil doers?

I'm bored, let's see how many words we can come up with that are spelt/pronounced differently in 'US English' than they are in our English. Also words that are the same in each language but with different meanings or vice versa.

E.g.
Humour - Humor
Yoghurt
Boot - Trunk

I'm so sad. ^_^
