Latino 16, I will give you another answer to laugh at. The reason that I believe in God is because I know He is real. It is a highly personal thing sometimes what leads you to come to God. When you do find yourself lead to a relationship with Him you will know that He indeed is real. I could give you examples of how this happened to me, but first, I doubt you would really read them, and secondly I don't think you would understand if you have never had anything like that happen to you before. I can tell you, that I know, He is alive, and He is in control...this has come from my life experiences. The fact of the matter is, I have learned that in life there are no coincidences. Now, continue laughing at me, I can take it.

Because there is air to breath, water to drink, food to eat, stars in the sky, laughter and tears, sun and moon, family and friends, oceans that are filled with marine life, birds that are flying south following invisible magnetic lines.
There is wisdom and knowledge beyond and above the human understanding and everywhere I turn my eyes I see beauty and care and love that fills my heart with joy and appreciation and I know I’ve done nothing to bring all that into existence.
So I believe there is an Infinite Spirit that created all that exists so I can see and believe.
Is that a good reason for you ? Oh…by the way… I’m not Christian I don’t believe in any religion I just believe in GOD!!!

I just do. It's a matter of faith. Really, all you have to do is look around you at the miracle of life and how things work.
Humans need oxygen. They breath out carbon dioxide and breathe in oxygen. What a coincidence! Trees absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen.
Life forms are miraculous in their assembly. Various features to adapt to the various lifestyles. Tigers are fast and have claws to capture and kill their prey. Gazelles are even faster. Zebras have vertical stripes to help them disappear among the trees and tall grasses. Porcupines can curl into a ball to repel an enemy. Skunks can also be pretty repulsive.
And you think this was all by chance? Hah!

Hey, I am a Muslim.
I have a lecture for everyone who wants proof of Almighty God. It is by the brilliant Muslim scholar, Dr. Zakir Naik. He proves Almighty God’s existence by using some of the many scientific verses in the Qur’an. Scientists are recently discovering these facts, but they were already in the Qur’an 1400 years ago! Please listen to the lecture. It is worth your time.

Because the universe is orderly. Order takes intervention; it doesn't just happen.
Example...what are the chances that, when you throw up an arm-full of laundry it will land neatly folded?? What are the chances that when you throw up a deck of cards, they'll land in correct order and arranged by suit?
So, when the Big Bang occurred, the chance of orderliness just occurring was infinitesimally small, while the chance of chaos was enormous. See what I'm saying?....
Oh, and I DO have a sourse on this. His name is Gary Schwarts, Ph.D., M.D. He is famous for his "God Experiments" and "Afterlife Experiments"....he actually does true experiments to test for the existence of a god and an afterlife....

I don't think any of the answers that deals with God and beliefs is rather funny; I think it's sad that you don't have any beliefs, but who am I to judge? I'm not the judger in the end anyways.

Sorry, I'm not a Christian. I'm an Agnostic actually. I just find this question to be rather silly.
They believe in God because:
1) It's what their religion teaches them
2) It's what their families teach them
3) It's what their peers teach them
4) It's what they truly believe in their hearts.
That's like an American why they think America is the best nation in the world. It's what they are taught and truly believe.

The reason why I believe in God, is because I enjoy the RELATIONSHIP I have with Him. Jesus freed me from the guilt and punishment of sin. I now am a child of God and I don't have to fear what happens after I die, because Jesus has paid for all my guilt and shame and I am considered righteous before God and my future with Him is bright.
I also enjoy my daily walk with Him, relying on Him for wisdom and strength, and I am feeling secure in His love.
