Is it anything? I don't see you asking each other "hey fellow atheist prove to me there is no God" or "what haven't you found lately".All many of you do is bash the faithful and leave it to them to do all the proving. The believers at least are asking each other intelligent questions that they actually want the answers to.The truth, maybe you just can't handle the truth.

I, for one, am not looking for anything. I will accept and evaluate any evidence you may offer to support your position, but I am no longer actively seeking. I am confident enough in my position to continue on life's path without the incessant self-doubt and questioning that your ilk displays.

Sorry, but I have yet to see evidence of this intelligent discourse you mention. It appears to me that you are the one who cannot handle the truth and have to continually reassure yourself of the validity of your faith in your sky faerie.

ADDENDUM

"for all to see what an intolerant hate filled lifestyle is really like."

No, I'll skip the Xian lifestyle. You've displayed it for the world to see. Thanks, anyway.

Alternatively, maybe you can't handle the truth.

It is not possible to prove the non-existence of something. Try it and see. The inability to prove a negative does not make the opposite true - it only means that the non-existence of god cannot be proven.

I do not see how questions based upon something that does not exist, asked with the assumption that it does, could ever be intelligent questions.

The Bible says seek and you shall find. Many atheists are here on this site because their is a tug on there heart to accept Christ. They want to say yes to Christ but their pride keeps holding them back. Some will finally breakthrough and discover the joy of knowing and accepting Jesus.

Romans 10:9
Revelation 3:20

Have faith dear friends in God.

Single atheist, not looking ;) and don't feel the need to question. Nor do I want to bash any faithful.

Faith denies proof or truth so there should be no need to ask these questions anyway - what's the point? It seems to me you don't believe in your own truth.

Good luck sorting yourself out.

"The believers at least are asking each other intelligent questions that they actually want the answers to"

Does that include questions like "Hey atheists! Did you know you were going to hell?"

Please don't pretend that ridiculous questions are not asked by every group on this board because we both know better.

I don't think Atheists, who by the way don't believe there is a God, are actually looking for anything. I mean, if they don't believe in something, then please explain to me what they are looking for??

I'm not an Atheist (I'm Agnostic) but if I was I think I would just not believe and then get on with my life. I mean, if there were no God to me then there would be nothing to question and that would be that, right?

Why would one Atheist need to prove to another that there isn't a god? The are both convinced already. To me, it would be those of religion that seem to need reassurance, being that you must ask so many questions on what you should or should not believe.

You don't appear to have met a representative cross-section of Atheists. It doesn't sound like you know what you're talking about.

Atheists tend to be very concrete in their thinking. Therefore, the existence of God doesn't come up as a talking point between most Atheists. They might philosophize a little about it, but the word "prove" or "proof" is not something Atheists pretend has any business in conversations about a higher power.

I wasn't looking for anything - I was reading a forum I visit while multitasking on R & S

The questions don't require much thought or concentration

So if you don't see them asking each other "hey fellow atheist prove to me there is no god." then it must not be happening right? You're an atheist and you don't even know it yet. If you don't see it, it's not there. I like your way of thinking. I don't think you've accomplished what you were looking for though lol.
