The church i'm going to use to be packed full then our pastor left and most the ppl went to the church a couple miles away we were close to close'in but then we gotten some ppl back. I love this church because it feels like home to me. I know some of you won't like this question but please only NICE answers. Any ideas would be good...

Christ why the heck do they continue to call themselves Christians. I don't know about you but I think they have some nerve, and a brass neck for continuing to use Christ's name, when they don't believe in him. Do you.

Ok me and my husband just moved into an all white neighborhood. We were a little scared but we loved the house. The houses are 400,000 and up. Not trying to boast but we are very much wealthy and intellegent people. Now our neighbors are starting to move away and I think it is because of us not being white. Should I be offended?

okay im not religious person at all and i go to an episcopal school (mom wanted me to go to private it was that or cathlic school) and im am required to take a religion class...well the problem is i NO NOTHING!! and i need so much help like with the basics of christanity...im taking new testament and my teacher wants us to no the basics and i have no idea any of them if anyone can help plzzzzzzzz i rly dnt want to embaris myself(im 16 if that helps or not) but i would rly apreciate ur advice!!

They say; Why would "God" cause bad things to happen to good people? Why would "God" make storms, and murderers and catastrophe etc?

Why do they never ask: Why would "God" bless everyone with life and a working body (most)? Why does "God" give good luck to bad people? Why do good things happen to bad people?

It seems that sometimes they blame God for all the bad things but never acknowledge him for the good things. Ex: I heard once that a baby was dropped from a very tall height but instead of dying suffered only a few scratches! It was a miracle...but no one credits God for these things. Somehow God is responsible for "bad things" and non-existant when it comes to good things. We never thank God when something good happens; instead it was our OWN doing. But lo, when something bad happens it's all HIS fault, not ours?

(Im not saying all atheists do this..im just sayig it doesn't make sense)

Do you think true love actually exists? I mean say if your significant other died - you'd eventually get over it right? Then move onto to someone else, no? Reason why I'm asking is because I'm not quite sure if it exists. I have no particular reason for this - its just something that I always believed in but the other day I saw a gay themed movie and today I read another gay themed book (both romantic comedies) and in both of them the characters and actors were made to portray such intense love that for a moment I thought true love does exist but then I thought to myself they're just wicked actors and that the author of that book knows how to write. But what do you think? p.s. I'm not insane or a 16 year old school boy asking stupid questions (I'm 2 years older and just recently jumped on the path to insanity - so not quite there yet)
p.s.2. Please don't take offense and report me to yahoo - I truly am curious (as i've never been with anyone) and just want to know. Thanks

I have a friend of a friend who knows the "real" Robert Shelton. Apparently back in the day he had a little "jungle fever" and illegitimately fathered 2 children with a black woman. When he she left him because he was on welfare and poor. He threatened her and was later assailed by 2 strapping brothas. They butt raped him and left him on the side of the road. He was found by the local police in the morning, covered in his own filth and the incident was reported in the papers.

Ever since he has hated black people...

I am not gay but it bothers me that people say that. Heres my theory God made you the way you are you choose to go to hell if you do wrong but how is being gay wrong? God made me so I would like women when you do wrong you choose to. I cant just choose to like men no I have to be born like that. I just dont understand how is being gay wrong.
