Unlike Iraq, Scientology, or any other recent thing, including evolution. Israel has been in the spotlight of world history. People have fought against and for this tiny existence for thousands of years. Including the pagan Romans, Egyptians, atheist Hitler and many other Satanically inspired entities... With it's minuscule population it's a wonder and work of God that its people haven't been wiped from existence.
History further verifies this passage: So the dragon (Satan) was enraged with the woman (Israel), and went off to make war with the rest of her children (Christians), who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus (Revelation 12:17).
Satan is the god of this world. He has countless followers. The history of this world is based on a battle for hearts and minds between God and Satan. Israel in a spiritual and physical sense has been the forefront. That is why Christians and Israel are so hated by this world and its demonic master. Our treatment today proves that the 'dragon' and his spiritual children are still at war with us.
But this is the outcome: "You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing," says the LORD of hosts (Malachi 4:3). This will be God's doing and the conclusion of things.
God bless

Oh for Christs sake! That piece of land is at the core of the beliefs of the three dominant monotheistic religions. Of course it's going to be in the headlines! But look, if you think this is proof that your particular set of beliefs are true and all the others are false, then go ahead and believe.

The state of Israel is of shot up buildings, angry men on the street shaking their fists in the air (like a boiling pot, about to spill over), people wailing in anguish, payback after payback, sitting on a pile of dust. Pretty bleak state if you ask me. If the States weren't behind them, there wouldn't be a stone left upon a stone.

You DO know that the state of Israel was in fact created by the US & allies after WWII... right?
And that people have been fighting over that land since there were people, it being one of the cradles of civilization and highly strategically placed. You do know that, right?

This tells people that many people believe that there is something 'spiritual' about the land, but there's no proof of any spiritual existence!
There's proof of constant war, that's all the news is really covering.

My husband is FROM Israel and would BEG to differ. He is proud for the people but the religion is just as silly as Christianity (all except the part about Jesus).

Yes, because a country in the middle east would not normally get press coverage without god intervening.

We can see that you know nothing of logic.
Israel was created by force, taking land from people - so naturally, it's been bitterly contested for years. Our government pours far more money into Israel than NJ. All you've demonstrated is that our government, and the UN, aren't very bright.

Being in the news as getting bombed or sending bombs as a sign of god's presence is a good thing? Sorry, in this case I feel much, much safer without god's presence.
