The adults of today are in charge now, but face it..you guys are not doing a good jod! It's almost as if we are two different kinds of beings, the adults of today vs. the adults of tomorrow. You guys are destroying everything there is! Including humanity.. Wars everywhere, people against people! Why? If this is to continue humans will not last another 200 years. Think of your children, our future!

Deuteronomy 22, 13-21; - this is quite long, but the short of it is ;If woman is not a Virgin on the day of marriage, death!

So the 4 billion people (probably more) who do not accept Jesus Christ as their savior are going to hell? Don't say you don't have a right to judge, as when it comes down to it the majority of Christians I know and their denominations believe this to be fundamentally true even if they say "Well I can't judge."

I have heard it preached many times, Jesus is the only way to salvation, the only way to Heaven, etc.

There are approximately 6.6 billion people on Earth, with 2.1 billion Christians according to statistics (Including Catholics, Orthodox, Protestant, and all denominations) (Though for the above question's number I gave extra to Christians just in case)

1.3 billion are Islamic, and 900 million are Buddhist for the other largest religions.

I am an A level student and applied for University. I didn't make the grades I needed so presumed I had not got a place on my chosen course however when I called up the University they said "yes I can confirm you are safe all you need to do now is confirm your place.Well done." As a result I didn't take the necessary action regarding clearing or my secong choice.
However this morning after a night of celebration I got a letter telling me I HADN'T been given a place on my chosen course and instead would have to choose a different course at the Uni.
Is it just me that think this is terrible? And I'm not just saying it becauseit happened to me! I have a good mind to complain!

I have been a business professional for many years, I was on the ground floor of Megatrends, and Service America. I notice in the business world "excellence" is key in providing a product or service. People will pay the cost to achieve the absolute best in excellence and service that they can afford.

So why is it that so many folks (especially some "Christians") look down on the idea of giving God our very best? Are we not commanded to "be perfect even as our father in heaven is perfect"? Holy or set apart? Or are we willing to give God a minimal effort in expectation of a maximum blessing?

I know there are many of you that are out there and that are willing to pick up the Cross the Lord has called you to shoulder, but what about the rest of you? Why can't we as Christians break the mold of the "80/20 Rule" as in out of 100 people 20% do the work and 80% are there just takin up space looking for a blessing, and walking away from the Lord.... (continued in addt'l)

Does this mean that Christians will be going back to Eden?
If so, do you think that the tree of knowledge of good and evil is still there, or did god have it removed after the Adam and Eve debacle?

Then why did they come to this country to become the exact thing they were running away from? In Salem 141 were arrested, 19 were hanged and one was pressed to death just for acusations of having another faith. Today, on here for example, certain people fuss that athiests and agnostics don't belong on R&S because of their 'lack of faith', that it should only be for Christians. Does this country's religious freedom mean nothing to some?

1) The decision to practice child-bride polygamy was declared absolutely essential by Joe Smith. Indeed, he said that all Christian Churches were WRONG AND SINFUL because we didn't practice polygamy. Then the USA said that Utah wouldn't be admitted unless they have it up. And POOF, what was considered "essential and holy" was dropped. Or at least they pretended to drop it.

2) Joe Smith said that the ***** was cursed by God and can never ever be allowed to join the Mormons. Then, the Government threatened to disallow Mormon Church owned Businesses from profiting from Federal Contracts. POOF, they dropped the No-***** rule.

I remember reading somewhere in the Bible that we are to "sleep" after we die until we are caught up to meet with Christ before the rapture. I may be incorrect about the exact order of these events, but i am deeply curious, does anyone have any biblical evidence that reveals some insight as to what happens to us believers when we die before the second coming of Christ?
