The title of the question is pretty self explanitory.

Isn't it obvious that this is not meant to be taken seriously.

What ARE you babbling about?

I'll let you in on a little secret, Eko.

Being funny is like being cool -- if you have to TELL someone you are, you aren't.

Slight Against God

No, they just disprove evolution, not God (Dãh)

Paz de Cristo

Edit: Dragon. Actually Michael Bay kind of redeemed himself from all the other awful movies he made with transformers. It is a pretty good movie, I'm also a cartoon fan and i don't think the movie is all that it could be. Still i was not disappointed [and when i first heard Michael Bay was directing it, i thought i would be]. The first time you watch the movie you some times get lost during the fight scenes and you don't know what is going on. Other than that some cool characters [the decepticons] don't appear as much as I'd like them to. Great, great movie though.

Edit II: Neither that big cube from the movie, nor the autobot matrix of leadership from the cartoon would hypothetically disprove God. It state, however that Transformers did not evolve in a process that involved natural selection. It kinda makes you think. [if you are as a weird geek as I'm considering myself to be right now, that is]....

Its maybe got a little bit of a political angle (invaded people fighting against a high tech adversary trying to occupy them for resources - sound familiar) so I think its a bit of a misguided place for GM to use as an advert as there inefficient gas guzzlers are a driving force behind .....etc etc you know what I mean. But Slight against god - come on , stop being stupid.

My pastor loved this movie and he actually said it reminded him of the transforming power that God can have in our lives.

I haven't seen it yet, but everyone says it's great - so I'm gonna try to this weekend.

Or just a giant car commercial?

(Don't get me wrong, I loved the cartoons. But the movie is only good for the special effects.)

tawn, special effects are the only thing important thing in transformers, its a story about gigantic robots fighting each other, not a play by Shakespeare.
