So the 4 billion people (probably more) who do not accept Jesus Christ as their savior are going to hell? Don't say you don't have a right to judge, as when it comes down to it the majority of Christians I know and their denominations believe this to be fundamentally true even if they say "Well I can't judge."
I have heard it preached many times, Jesus is the only way to salvation, the only way to Heaven, etc.
There are approximately 6.6 billion people on Earth, with 2.1 billion Christians according to statistics (Including Catholics, Orthodox, Protestant, and all denominations) (Though for the above question's number I gave extra to Christians just in case)
1.3 billion are Islamic, and 900 million are Buddhist for the other largest religions.

Oy, if it's going to be that crowded I'd better pack light. I'm going to schvitz (sweat) so bad.
On a serious note, do these same "Christians" believe that those who came before them (the Jews, like myself) are also damned to hell? How could they have known about Christ?

Yes and No... This is a tough question. The following thoughts are my opinion. I am Christian so I fall in the 2.1 billion people. But also I dont believe very good Jews go to Hell either. I just think they missed the boat but they still believe in the true God. So should they get punished the same way as Hitler? I think the all-loving God would not do that. Also there are many people out there that believe in God and Jesus but dont understand there Christian... Ive talked to so many people that say oh im catholic... Well that is Christian! I hope this helps and its not just rambling...

Notice how Christians are ashamed of answering this question. They rarely do it openly. They know they really believe that the vast majority of people who have ever lived on earth- billions of people- are going to hell.
They don't openly state this very often because saying it out loud emphasises the absurdity of it. A loving god sending people to hell for not believing a story that is so far fetched even children can see through it.

You've got to ask yourself this is God going to judge you on the basis of what you wrote in those forms where u have to fill ur religion or whether on the basis of how you chose to live ur life, I am a good girl, I help people whenever I can, I take care of my parents, I get good grades, I am studying to be a doc, I dont steal, dont cheat, I am a virgin,, I am as kind as I possibly can be, ofcourse I have my own faults but they arent that bad, I am a hindu but I dont go to temples that much I pray ofcourse but I dont need to go to a temple to do that, so will I go to Hell?? ofcourse not

Faith, by its very nature, is fundamentally judgemental.
At the very outset of a religion you are judged by whether you are or are not a member of that faith. The whole speech about "Judge not" is classic misdirectiion. A person can not be a be part of an exclusinve group without adopting judgement about those that are part of the group versus those that are not.

It is the responsibility of the Christians to witness to the others. They are then given the choice to accept or reject. Jesus said, "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature."(Mark 16) People choose their own destiny, but those who die without the opportunity to hear the gospel will be judged accordingly because God is merciful. it is not for me to predict the judgment of God.

Hell, the JWs believe that only 144,000 will make it into Heaven. That's 144,000 of ALL the souls ever born. Compared to that, the insistence that you have to "accept Jesus" to get in looks like radical liberalism...lol.
"Its not that hard to understand. Its very simple. Jesus is the only way to get to heaven. Plain and simple."
Yeah - brainless bigotry IS very simple.
Then we have this class of remark: "It is the responsibility of the Christians to witness to the others. They are then given the choice to accept or reject."
In other words, "Christians" are duty-bound to shoot their mouths off at every opportunity re: their superstition, and anybody who refuses to group-think with them is damned.

Absolutely not, one of the large problems with the Christian faith. I dare any person to find a religion that is perfect without judgement or demeaning of other faiths. It doesnt exist. Live right and be fair is the only way to go, whoever is running this crazy world will reward you for it.

No matter who or what you accept or don't accept, we're all going to the same place after death - - - - back to nothingness, just as we were before birth. That is nature. That is readily understandable . That is believable . That is reality , that is sensable.
Fairy tales are great for kids, but sooner or later, we grow up. Dump all superstitions, and enjoy life. Nothingness is not that bad. We never complained a thousand years ago. Accept it.
