Is this a trick question? Or just a question of semantics? When someone accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they ARE born again..... If you are asking "Can someone chose not to accept Jesus, and Jesus still save them?" Then the answer is God can do whatever He wants, but He won't lie - and He said that if you reject His Son, you will not be saved. So someone who decides to reject the free gift of salvation will not be forcefully saved by Jesus. Nor can that person's loved ones "Pray him into heaven".

You mean: Can a person who is not "born again" be saved by Jesus?
Yes. You "born again" after being saved by Jesus, not before.

That is the meaning of being "born again". It is the Spiritual "rebirth" of a person who places their trust in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation and accepts what he did by dying on the cross for their sins and the rising from the grave to give them eternal life in heaven. A person can not be saved without being born again, not born again without being saved. They are the same thing.

I'm not a Christian - but I think "being saved by Jesus" is the same thing as being "born again" - so if you have done one - you've done the other - and you're on the right track until you start "sinning." (I don't believe in sin. But I think this is what the Christians believe.)

That's what "being born again" is about. Express your belief in Jesus and you will be "saved."

When you turn to Jesus and repent of your sins and ask God to forgive you based on what Jesus did by dying on the cross for your sins, then you become born again, you are adopted into God's Forever Family, and you are "saved" all at once.

according to my analysis.. any religion cannot save you (in different situation)., be in born again, catholic. baptist..etc.

for me, what can simply save you is how you follow the teaching of jesus (doing good deeds to people..etc)

so, analyze this... what's the use if have a religion if you don't apply the teachings of jesus? this makes you stupid really.

just stay humble and do all the teachings of jesus.

Well if you want Jesus to save you, you must accept his helping hand. When you accept his helping hand, you will watch yourself morph into not what you want to be but what he wants you to be. So the answer is No. If that were the case, it would be a free for all in heaven.

We in this dispensation are not told to be "born again". Thats a news flash to most professing christians as they are getting their information from a program God stopped. Israel was told to be born again, as they were Gods FIRSTBORN.

We arent born again, but MADE into NEW CREATIONS. We are placed INTO the Body of Christ and made a living member of that Body by FAITH in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as sufficient to reconcile us to God.

We are saved by BELIEVING that what Jesus did on that Cross was ENOUGH...God says it is, and He rose from the dead to prove it!

No one will enter heaven without the righteousness of Christ. We are offered that righteousness BY GOD HIMSELF as a gift. Have you taken Him up on His offer?
