Hmmm, tough question for me. Both have ideologies which often don't fit the facts. Priests struggle with their faith inwardly, yet pretend to be certain of their beliefs outwardly, which is disinigenuous.
Successful politicians believe that ruthless deceitful tactics are okay as long as it supports their ideology.
I'd have to go with priests though. Look at the Catholic molestation problem, and now the Jehovah's Witnesses have a molestation problem too. Both groups willingly and knowingly protected known child molesters and hid them from the law, enabling them to continue molesting, all in an attempt to cover up the problem. They even go so far as to hire lawyers to protect offenders they know are guilty.
Praise Jesus. Nope, nothing is worse than religious hypocrisy (a synonym?)

While I want to say priests, I'd have to go with politicians. There's likely a far greater percentage of priests who have good intentions and stick to them than politicians.

All the way Politicians! They the ones who twist the truth in order to give themselves unfair advantages and power. The corruption to some extent will always exist and it's as old as politics itself. At least priests come with good intentions!

I don't know about other countries but in India politicians are miles head than the priests in terms of lying or forgery or any kind of bad things u can imagine.
