Some men have very perfect, hot, smooth looking bodies, however the flimsy sack in between looks ugly, and out of place. Does anyone else agree?

I don't think he was passing out scriptures for people to read. It was the key to the Kingdom in a small package, but what was it? It was the seed that saves, and around this period he mentioned nothing about the crucifixion either.

My bet is that WE DO NOT KNOW what he was passing out. If we did, things would be better now. What do you think?

This question came up as I was reading at http://gospelenigma.com

First question, why do Christians feel the need to convert everyone to their religion?
Second, Why do Christians put all their faith in something that they have no proof then insult those who do not?
Third, Why do Christians feel the need to say that everyone who is non-Christian has no morals, or no hope, etc.

Just wondering. I have read many questions posted by Christians in here and also read many answers by them and get the feeling that Christians hate everything non-Christian. just want to understand why?

If the trend in this article continues maybe we will actually have a melting pot in this country. I can't think of a higher ideal than for all americans to be 1/4 hispanic, 1/4 asian, 1/4 black, 1/4 white. Then we have all the grand parents a jew, muslim, christian and buddhist. I just think at minimum the family get togethers could be taped as motion pictures.

If there is indeed a heaven then how will we appear in it and what about people from history will we be walking around in hoodies next to people in corsets? If everyones idea of heaven is different how can there be one place where everyone goes? Similarly what will hell be like , what will it be like in your view?

Heh it was my Jesus building quality hot rod question. Guess no one thinks Jesus can build a hot rod. He can make wine but not hot rods. I guess the song was a little weird though.

You can mention her biography in answer too.

No simple answers such as, "she simply good at what she does."

Thanks

You don't see Goodness on the scale of the Holocaust, or of the Communist Revolution. Why is that?

I used to be a fervent Catholic, but because of a lack of a solid foundation on which to base my faith, many of my arguments for a belief in God have crumbled. I'm more agnostic than atheist. But I don't like the uncertainty of agnosticism nor the certainty of atheism. When I believed God did not exist I was much happier. Life had purpose and meaning and I wasn't depressed. I'd rather submit myself to brainwashing so I could believe in God again. Because no matter how much studying and no matter how much contemplation on spiritual matter I do, I fear I will never overcome this depression and sense of meaninglessness.

I don't understand how atheists could really be at peace knowing that after death, one's existence ceases entirely and those of their loved ones. Not to mention the unsettling feeling of believing that all that happens is by chance and the universe ultimately filled with chaos.

to be of glbts...Do you think that we, as gay people, should be more out to people around us just for this effect? I mean if Dorothy at work really likes you--then isn't she less likely to be homophobic? Is there a strong case for people being homophobic (racist, whatever) just because they don't really know any of us as individuals?
Or is it the opposite?--more of a situation that is simply that non-homophobic people tend to have more gay friends?
