I believe it is because people don't want to be held accountable for there actions. No one wants to be told how to live. They let their pride get in the way. But I would like to get some feed back from people and find out the feelings of others.

I am asking this because of the number of people who claim to be Christians, but at the same time claim some beliefs that are the opposite of what the Bible teaches.

Is it right to pick and choose and still carry the title, or should you find a different title?? I mean, if the Bible is true, it has to all be true. If you call yourself Christian, you are claiming a certain set of beliefs, namely, the Bible. If you don't believe it, should you claim it?

Bitching to God about the hardship of life is basically crying out to him isn't it? Do we want our daddy here too kiss it and make it better?

It's as if we turned 18 years old and took on our own responsibilities in life, God left it to us. Will we mature or will we fail, God bets against us.

I'd like to prove him wrong myself and at least make a very good attempt at peace on this planet, wouldn't you?

I'm raising my child in the Christian faith, and we have a loving Christian home atmosphere, but I love Halloween - love the dressing up, candy and "spooky" fun. My daughter does to. Are there any of you who don't or who take issue with the holiday?
