are christians still forgiven if they confess to god but they did nth to comfort the person they've hurt? is it really confession? does god really forgive every single thing people confess?

If we confess our sins HE is Right and Just to Forgive us our sins---Works Every Time.

Now, you Reap what you have Sown.
Just because GOD Forgives you, dosen't mean that you Aren't agonna Reap what you have Sown.
Sin has Consiquiences!

I think you are supposed to confess both to God and to the person you wronged, ask both for forgiveness and do your best to put things right again or compensate the person in some way if it is not possible to restore their loss or damage
back to the way it was before you wronged them.

The bible first says that if you sin against your brother go make it right with him and ask for forgiveness then go to Jesus and ask him for forgiveness and he will.

god will forgive you if you are truly sorry. If someone is truly sorry, they will try to comfort the person and make amends
