Pecos Bills pet vulture. One time he flew off with a whole football team because somebody yelled out they were dead last and stunk, when he was floating around at about 40,000 feet and fair to middlin' hungry.

Most scholars believe that pterodactyls were the largest flying creatures on this earth. And so many people do not know just how large these flying dinosaurs were... For these flying pterodactyls use to eat and carry off to their nest some very large dinosaurs......... And if they live during the times human were on this earth... A human being would be nothing more then a mere snack to those huge creatures.....................

Well, there aren't any directly linked to my current area of the world, so let's see what I can find...

In general, there are two cryptids listed who are aerial creatures, the Thunderbird and the Kongamato. (I've posted links below, rather than quoting wholesale from them.)

The are more, we have (as mentioned) the Thunderbird (giant bird), Kongamato (small pterosaur), the Alhool (giant bat) and probably others, though I'll not repeat the whole list here so folks can look over the list themselves.

Probably a bald eagle. I saw one flying down our street last year and it was huge. Pennsylvania also has legends of a giant flying creature called a thunderbird.
