And that's why I keep an Exorcism Emergency Kit in the kitchen. Last year Roddy had a case of 'the fits' and we were able to fix him up in a jiff!

i believe in demons and on exorcisims, however i beliefe that the Christians have a misguided belief that simply saying the name of Jesus or God will cast one out of a person or home.

I am a Pagan, and on a fairly regular basis am called to preform cleansings and blessings on homes. the only people that i have seen that had demons inside them have been my Medium assistants. and we take precautions to make sure that noone gets hurt in the process.

also i do not attribute every little thing to a demon or evil spirit.

the link that you provided is clearly a case of religious fanaticism, and it is very possible that they were involved in a fringe group of some nature.

in the Christian religion only the Catholic's still preform exorcisims on any regular basis, and there is a long process involved in getting a catholic exorcist to preform one.

this was not the work of a professional, it was clearly the work of a deranged and probably disturbed individual.

locking the mother out of the room, having his own daughter naked and chanting some gibberish in the room, and choking a 3 year old. this is not a viable ritual in any religion.

We believe we need "JESUS" and "JESUS" only. Repent of our sins and be baptized in his name and he will give us the gift of his holy spirit. The news article you referred us to has nothing to do with Christians. We are reading about "Fools" The outcome had nothing to do with Christianity. The man probably died from a heart attack are a blow to his body from the fracas with the police. Every adult in the house should have been arrested. God is not in foolishness. Now this was the work of Satan to deter people from God. this type of thing is frightening to people who do not know the real word of God. One of Christians of today arguments is about speaking in tongues. Which was done in the upper room on the day of Pentecost. Jesus mother was also present. Speaking tongues is the outward evidence( appearance) that you are filled with the holy spirit. A unknown language only God knows what is being said. You can not learn to speak in tongues. It is a gift from God. I see this as something to deter man from believing that part of the scripture is correct. I just know this is another trick of Satan.

Does saying things that aren't true because you don't know what you're talking about make you a liar, or just an ignorant person with a pretense of knowledge?

Casting out demons is accomplished by words.

Most of all you need a close relationship with Jesus and to be full of the Holy Spirit.

Exorcism done right, by a Spirit filled Christian, can be done over the telephone.

you can not exorcise a demon from yourself or anyone else if you have not accepted to uphold Gods standards in your life and become baptized.

You are leaving yourself open to such attacks when you choose to live your life seperate from Gods requirements.
