It's strange but when you read the names the tunes just pop in your head.

Yes.The Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Autry, Frankie Laine. I also remember "Pistol Packin' Mama" , "Red River Valley" "Bury Me Not On The Lone Prairie" and more. So many positive memories of those songs. Roy Rogers, Hopalong Cassidy, and Gene Autrey were favorites, along with the Lone Ranger and Red Ryder ( on the radio) Such innocent times we had so long ago,sitting on the floor and staring up at that magic little box!

Roy Rogers, Hopalong Cassidy, Burl Ives, Sons of the Golden West. Warm days and cool summers laying in the fields chewing on sweet grass. Oh, for the good ol' days.

Yessss! I grew up in the cowboy and Indian era. Roy Rogers use to sing at the end of his movies. I even have a Roy Rogers greatest hits with those songs on it. Happy Trails!!!

Oh yeah! Remember 'Cool Clear Water'? 'Happy Trails to You'? 'I've got Spurs that Jingle-Jangle-Jingle'?

Those are all good old songs. You have to wonder what kids sing around campfires in Summer Camp these days!
