First question, why do Christians feel the need to convert everyone to their religion?
Second, Why do Christians put all their faith in something that they have no proof then insult those who do not?
Third, Why do Christians feel the need to say that everyone who is non-Christian has no morals, or no hope, etc.

Just wondering. I have read many questions posted by Christians in here and also read many answers by them and get the feeling that Christians hate everything non-Christian. just want to understand why?

If that is the impression you have gotten, I am sorry.

First: I do not feel it is my responsibility to convert anyone. I will, however, share my faith when asked, and this is the forum to do it.

Second: I try not to insult people, and I do have proof...it is just proof some will not accept.

Third: Many non-Christians are very moral. Morality, however, does not save us.

I agree some "Christians" are not presenting a Christ-like view to the world...some are, though.

Please don't lump us all together, just as I would not lump all non-believer in one category.

1. I am a Christian. Do I want to lead people to CHRIST? YES!!!

However, I would be more gentle.

2. I have no interest in insulting others. I feel sorry for the self-righteous types.

The proof I have that GOD exists is all around me.

3. I believe morality can come from various religions. Morality is taught and passed down from one generation after another.

My answer to all three of your questions is, I don't. I have never tried to convert anyone. If someone asks me, I'll tell them, but other than that, I don't say a word. I don't have proof of God, but I don't insult people who don't believe. We have the freedom here to believe or not believe, and I respect that right. Finally, some of the most moral people I ever knew were Wiccan. The responses you have read are from a very vocal minority or possibly even trolls who do stuff like that for their odd idea of fun.

These are good questions.
1. Because we believe we know the path to eternal paradise, and we want to bring as many of our friends with us as we can.
2. Faith, by definition, is believing in something you have no proof of. (I know...bad grammar. :-P)
3. I can't answer for others, but I have never said non-Christians have no morals, hope, etc. I do believe we have a pretty good rule book, and I intend to try to follow it to the best of my ability.

While I'm sure some do "hate" everything non-Christian, I believe that that is, in itself, non-Christian. Therefore, I do my best not to hate anyone. Sometimes it's hard, but I do try. ;-)

Hope this helps you.

I do not feel the need. I do not insult others who do not believe.
I do not say that those who do not believe as I do have no morals.
Check out all my answers.

On the other hand, I have been mocked and insulted many times because I DO believe. Some have tried to convert me, though they have NO proof that their beliefs are correct.

I have been told that as a Christian, I am responsible for all of the wars that have ever been fought and every atrocity that has ever been committed.

I would like to understand why as well.

1. We believe that since God our Creator has revealed His truth to us and sent His Son to die for our sins we have the absolute truth. We know that without Jesus people are lost. We are like the engineer who warned, "the bridge is structurally deficient", and he was correct.

2. There is lots of proof for Bible based Christianity. I only wish I had room to list it all here. I don't.

3. Morals is based on God's declaration of what is right and wrong. Without Jesus Christ, people have no hope, that's true. You asked why? The answer is because its true, without Jesus you have no hope.

4. While Christians disagree with things, that does not mean we hate that which we disagree. Another point is that a non Christian has no basis to tell on here who really is a Christian and who is not. Lots of non Christians on here pretend to be religiously Christians when in fact they are not really Christians. Please don't confuse the religious bigots with the real Christians who are on here loving people and weeping about the fact that so many are lost and heading towards graves without knowing Jesus Christ.

I don't think I'm better than anyone else on here and I know for sure many of you are smarter than I am, but love compels me to tell you the truth about Jesus and the Bible God's Word.

To begin to answer you, I must say that just because someone calls himself Christian, doesn't necessarily mean that he is a Christian.
A true Christian lives a life of peace, forgiveness, love and kindness. If you dont find that in the people you are questioning about, maybe they arnt really as Christian as they want you to believe.
Question them. Question yourself about what you believe. Then begin to read the Bible. You might be surprised at what you learn about God, about Jesus, and about the weaknesses in mankind. You might also be surprised to see that some of the heroes in the Bible made mistakes, did wrong, and still were forgiven. Each person must find his or her own way to God. Dont be put off by those who make mistakes in the way they try to convert everyone. They are just doing what they think is the right way.....even if they are doing it in a non-Christian way!

It is fear. Christianity has degenerated from its original psychological symbolism and power into trivial nonsense about an afterdeath experience of heaven and hell which allows them to ignore the acceptance and inclusive aspects of Jesus' teachings. Apocalyptic rhetoric in the New Testament attributed to Jesus has now been discovered to be fictitious but many present day Christians have been fed this their entire lives. The Gospel of Thomas is the only accurate indication of his insights into the relationship between being and reality.

But, then all religions go through the same process over time until their symbolism is virtually meaningless. Some of the Muslims on R&S are similarly in the dark.

"Forgive them, they know not what they do." It's relevant.

1. God commanded us to go forth and spread the Gospel to all the world and every creature.
2. We have proof. We also have our Faith. Why do those without God try to belittle us?
3. I have no need to judge humans. That is up to God Almighty the Righteous Judger of men.

First we don't want ANYONE to go to hell. If you were blind and were about to walk off a cliff wouldn't you want someone to tell you?

God can't lie. Titus 1:2

You are proof God is real.

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Rom. 1:20

Jesus is the ONLY way.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death. Prov. 14:12

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matt. 7:13-14

Our morals come from the Ten Commandments. (Ex. 20)

And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. Heb. 9:27

We are judged by the Ten Commandments.

Ever told a lie?
Ever hated anyone? See 1 John 3:15
Ever lusted after someone? See. Matt. 5:27-28
Ever blasphemed?

For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. James 2:10

Lawbreakers go to hell.

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Rev. 21:8

This is clear and humbling. However God made a way so we wouldn't have to go to hell. Jesus (God in flesh) came to earth, lived a sinless life, and was crucified on our behalf. He rose three days later defeating death and in turn giving us an escape route from hell. But Jesus did command us to repent. That means to turn from sin to God. The perfect example of repentance is found in Psalm 51.

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:15

I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Luke 13:3

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3

You see when you repent God gives you a new heart and new desires and they are desires to serve Him. As a result you are biblically born again! That my friend is good news!

I hope this gives you a crystal clear understanding.
