If the trend in this article continues maybe we will actually have a melting pot in this country. I can't think of a higher ideal than for all americans to be 1/4 hispanic, 1/4 asian, 1/4 black, 1/4 white. Then we have all the grand parents a jew, muslim, christian and buddhist. I just think at minimum the family get togethers could be taped as motion pictures.

I'm not sure about many things, but when I look at all these beautiful mixed kids growing up today. I think it may have been Gods plan all along.

I think it's great that we are no longer as stuck on skin color.

But there will always be a tendency for people to gravitate to people of their own race. People like familiarities. In my case, that means I am drawn to hispanics & asians - people with dark hair & dark eyes. Even though I am as white as they come, everyone in my family has dark hair & dark eyes. (I got every reccessive gene my family had to offer) So I grew up looking into dark eyes when someone told me they loved me, hugged me or sang me a llullaby.

But race shouldn't be a deciding factor. In my case, even though I've always loved dark hair & eyes, I happened to have fallen madly in love with a man with light blue eyes! So now I love Blue eyes - at least his!

It's kid of sad that we will have fewer & fewer Blonds & Red-heads as this trend continues, but the benifits far outway that one relatively small drawback.

But people should stick to people of their own faith - if they are really serious about their faith. It's not saying anything bad about a person to say they aren't the right person for you. And if you are a WWJD type Christian, & a Muslim as a devote Muslim, there would be a lot of conflict in the family over religion. But if religion is more of a general philosphy or a matter of heritage, then mixing the religions would be no problem.

If the power of the wind generated by Al Sharpton's lips could be harnessed, we could shut down five oil refineries.

I wouldn't be surprised if the entire world became racially mixed. I really don't care what happens in terms of race, as long as humanity is taken care of, I will be happy for my descendants (whatever race(s) they may be).
