That is, within your Christian religion, i.e. the Trinity concept, the validity of the Creation stories, the relevance of the Old Testament, etc.

I became an atheist before I began to use Yahoo! Answers, but I have learned some things about Christianity here that contradict the fundamentalist system I was raised to believe. Of course, I still don't accept it, but it certainly seems a lot better to me than it did before.

The word came in the flesh to tell us what we ougth to do. He gave light to men and women, but the people loved darkness instead of light. The fact though is the word was sacrficed for our sins. Are there any Protestants that married a Catholic and then converted to Catholicism?
Do you currently still attend the Catholic church? If you have children, how are you raising them?
What was most difficult for you? What was your most memorable experience or lesson? Do you have any regrets? What did you question most about the differences in beliefs and practices?

My boyfriend and I are of different faiths and this is something we’ve been discussing. Just curious about the thoughts of anyone who’s been there before.

If so, then why are so many horrible things in the world. How come the bible which is supposed to be the word of god have so many flaws in it. For example, how can the human race get started from two people "Adam and Eve." If they had 2 kids then how could the kids mate when they are brother and sister. And how come there are so many different races in the world if Adam and Eve were 2 white people. Also how could Noah collect 2 of every animal in seven days. He would have to travel to Antactica for a penguin, North America for a grizzly bear and so on. Also the bible says the world was created 6000 years despite so much proof that is wasn't. Also if God wanted us to believe in him so much why does't he just show himself. He always showed himself in biblicle times. Long story short, does god exist.

The reason I ask is yesterday I caught a glimpse of a black car outside my work place that I've never seen before. When I looked again, it was gone. I have ESP, though not very well developed, and I've had a bad feeling ever since I saw the strange vehicle. I work nights and the building my one co-worker and I clean is on the edge of town and it's about a hundred feet or so away from the road. Whether there was someone really sneaking around or the image of the car was just a bad sign of something that is going to happen it's had me on edge ever since then.
