Can Americans or any other people outside of England or even London tell the difference bettwen RP/Standard English and Cockney.
There are also other accents like estuary english and jamaican creeole(cant spell sorry!) can people outside the south east of England tell the difference?

I just had a 2nd interview for a position I am interested in. Although, it really wasnt an interview at all since it was over lunch. It was myself, and another candidate, along with 3 HR managers. I wanted to send them a thank you note. Basically, I want to thank them for lunch, reiterate my interest in the position. Can someone help with samples??

I heard that under a certain age, it is depended upon your parents on whether you go to heaven or hell. My assumption is if your under 18, then if like your mom or dad, or mom and dad is Christian, then you go to heaven but if their not then you go to hell. Do you know what age?

There is only one major Catholic church and Catholics lean on this as proof that they are god's light in the world. The only reason this is the case is because for most of the Catholic churches history, anyone who had a thought outside of what the church leaders promoted was branded as a heretic and jailed, turtured, and killed(very Christian behavior by the way). I mean under those threats and after that much turture and murder no wonder there is only one Catholic church. Whats sad is this was done no matter how much the bible supported their position,

And God says where there is truth there is sure to be error. WHen God has his prophets, Satan flooded the scene with false prophets. Even at the time of Jesus there were thousands of people claiming to be either the messiah or having a messiah message. This didnt make JEsus any less legit. Whatever church is following God's word completely - there you have the light to the world. No church following traditions of men can be of God

Anyone who has a garden knows how easily many plants can die if they are not given ideal growing conditions. A worldwide flood would have made thousands of plant species extinct. Even if every plant on earth came to seed at the same time of year (which never happens because different species have different life cycles) those seeds would have germinated in the flood, and without a place to grow, would have died.

Please tell me, if the bible is true, then why do we still have non-aquatic plants?

what to believe? If paganism dates back 5000 years ago, and Christianity is fairly new still, how do you know what is the truth? Even after praying day after day, month after month, I'm still left with so many questions. Questions that contradict theory.

The god of the bible could perform wonderful miracles like killing all the firstborn Egyptian children in one night, or drown all the children in the whole world by sending an awesome flood, yet your god can't even empty out a single hospital of all its sick people. Your profits like Benni Hinn can make millions by faking miracles on TV, but they can't provide one example of a miracle that can stand up to medical scrutiny. Why were the miracles in the bible real, but you have to either fake yours, or hide behind doctrines that say that miracles ceased after the bible was written?

She yelled @ me because I didn't understand why my light bill was so high. & so I started crying because she was blaming me. & she said, "Why are you crying? Because you don't wanna pay your bill? Or do you owe somebody else money that you're not telling me about?" & she DEMANDED an answer. & then she told me I need to get a perm (relaxer) for my hair. I'm almost 24 & have a college degree. But this was my 1st apartment since Hurricane Katrina & I had a different type of thermostat from what I have now. I took my brother's advice about setting the T on 70 & turn it on & off & my CM called me irresponsible & told me I was supposed to have it on Automatic & 78. & now she wants to monitor every penny I spend & she wants to see how I budget my money.

I feel like a kid with no freedom. That means I can't even treat myself to something good if I wanted to because she'll use that against me & try to get someone to become my payee over my disablilty checks over 1 luxury I spent my $$ on.

Christians, I realize that I am not the only one in the world and on YA who is discouraged and I dont want to sit on my "pity pot" and feel sorry for myself. I also know discouragement is a part of life and things break and jobs fail and people die this has been happening since the fall of Adam and Eve.

My question is what is a good godly way to get encouraged once again? Thank you for your answers and God bless you.
