The god of the bible could perform wonderful miracles like killing all the firstborn Egyptian children in one night, or drown all the children in the whole world by sending an awesome flood, yet your god can't even empty out a single hospital of all its sick people. Your profits like Benni Hinn can make millions by faking miracles on TV, but they can't provide one example of a miracle that can stand up to medical scrutiny. Why were the miracles in the bible real, but you have to either fake yours, or hide behind doctrines that say that miracles ceased after the bible was written?

MY GOD, the 1 True God & the only God, and He is just as strong today as he ever was. My God performs miracles in my life all the time. Some have to faith to believe it, some don't! But I have personally seen miracles, so I don't know who's God you are talking about. But it isn't mine! That's for sure!

First of all, benni hinn ISN'T a profit. as to whether or not his miracles are real, i cannot say. and God can empty every hospital of sick people, in fact, i don't see why it would be beyond His power to completely scourge the world of all suffering, but then, why would anyone not love Him? He created us with free will so that we may choose to accept His love, but without any pain, without any need to test our faith, it kind of takes away from our free will, offering no option but to accept him as the supreme God. i cannot say why there is suffering, because i'm not that smart, but i can say that there are plenty of miracles that stand up to medical scrutiny. have you never heard a doctor say "we can't explain why, but you just got better"? if you can't even give that credit to God sometimes, then why would you give him the credit of flooding earth and not to simply say it was a lot of rain?

There is no doctrine that says miracles ceased after the Bible was completed. In fact canonization of the saints (officially declaring his or her sainthood) requires documentation of a certain number miracles God performed through that person.

Miracles in the bible are real, because they came in time where people needed to see miracles to believe in God. But now, it's not the time of miracles, it's the time of people working hard and fighting to find the truth. And if you see that we need a miracle, then I think that you'll wait all of you're life while everybody is passing you by.

Killing the firstborn?? Pharaoh was given 10 chances to obey the Word of God and yet refused time and time again, and God commanded Moses and for all the Israelites to kill a lamb without blemish and put it's blood upon the lentels of the doorposts and the Death Angel shall pass over them, but this also included the Egyptians as well and again, their disobedience cost them their lives as it is today. Jesus gave His Blood and those who receive it and apply it to their heart and life shall in no wise see or experience eternal death and separation from Almighty God and to those who rebell and refuse to do this will again experience the Death Angel to take them to a place prepared for Satan, his demons and whosoever name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life..You want to see a miracle? Reject God's Word and you will see the Death Angel come and you will not escape, nor your cries have any effect on his strong arm of Divine Judgment..or accept Christ and the death Angel has no rights over you no longer..So, you pick the miracle you want..MK

With all our technology and psychology and television, we have become cycnical. After we got photoshop, a picture was no longer worth a thousand words. The earth is like a pinata. Everything in our daily lives came from the earth. It is full of goodies. You are surrounded daily by miracles. Pictures and sound fly thru the air. You just don't want to credit God for it. God is not offended by your lack.

You mean why is god so omni-absent, more impotent, than omnipotent? The answer is simple. Miracles don't exist. The stories in the buybull are just that, fictional stories spoon-fed to those gullible enough to believe in them.

A miracle is an event described by those to whom it was told by people who did not see it.
— Elbert Hubbard, The Philistine (1909)

Saints fly only in the eyes of their disciples.
— Hindu proverb

Ye shall have miracles, aye, sound ones too,
Seen, heard, attested, everything but true.
— Thomas Moore, (1779-1852

God is as strong as He ever was in the bible. Since He gave us the bible to tell His story, we don't need miracles anymore to prove He is God. Everything we need to know is in the bible. People don't get it because they don't want to try and understand it. And nothing we say is going to help them understand. They need to study the Bible with an open heart and mind.

To those of us that believe in God we see proff surrounding us everyday. For example, take the honey bee. According to everything we (humans) know of aerodynamics they shouldn't be able to fly. Wing surface lift is far lower then the weight of the bee. But, the Bee flies. Simple proff shown in nature that there is a God.

Why do you ask? Do you feel a void in your life?

My God is still powerful in my life and in the lives of His children. He still doesn't do many miracles among those who are NOT His children unless they come against us. Didn't you note in the Bible that it was the nations of those who oppossed HIm and His children that suffered....while those who honored Him were blessed?
