Yes, God is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. But in my heart of hearts I feel that we know very little about life after death. To be more specific, from God's vantage point there are no mysteries. But from our vantage point of seriously limited information, we can't really see the magnitude of God's justice. We only know what He has chosen to reveal to us. Even in man's history with God certain mysteries were not fully disclosed until centuries later! The Word becoming flesh is one of many. That's why it is important to simply trust His wisdom, love and justice.

I wonder why people think that God has time to keep a parental eye on us? Even if God didn't give a crap about you or me, would this make him any less God?
I think God is God, and his dwelling place is within our consciousness. If you feel God to be parental and caring, then you must be parental and caring. We get from the Universe just what we put into it, nothing more, nothing less.
You want love? Give it. Only by becoming a conscious creator yourself will you earn the right to know the Greatest Creator. No other means is available to approach the authentic God. This is why Jesus said that the way was narrow, and those who pass through are few.

confident.I too had the doubt for an extremely long term.God is merciful.no remember if we've self belief in him or no longer,we are ultimately his babies. And the incontrovertible fact that God will deliver non believers to the damnation of hell for all eternity is faulty.lots of folk which includes Christians say that Jesus believed and taught his followers approximately reincarnation ie. God giving non believers a 2nd probability to spirituality and additionally some archaeologists are on the verge of proving this.they say Bible had specific info approximately reincarnation.immediately, specific archaeologists say that records and teachings of reincarnation have been destroyed by skill of a Templar Byzantine emperor Justinian.no person knows of why he did this, according to probability to create a terror between non-believers to settle for Christianity.yet somewhat the incontrovertible fact that a non believer would be sent to hell continuously is definitely incorrect by way of fact God is a merciful father, no longer a barbaric butcher.

All of the above. My opinion is that G-d keeps a parental eye on us, giving us a good swift kick when we need it. He is also fair and generous and is always quick to forgive.
This is why Jews don't believe in hell. We don't believe that an all loving, all forgiving G-d would create such a place.

The God I believe in is loving but He also knows us because He created us and gave us free will. He never promised me a world full of nothing but happiness and light. He knows there will be bad times and said He would be there for us.
That's just my opinion and I've never tried to talk someone into believing in this. It would seem, after coming into Y&A-I'm pretty much in the minority.

I don't know and either does anyone else. All I know is that there are crazy people in this world who love this God that may or may not exist more than they love other people. I might stop complaining about that if this twisted love THEY have were not about to bring a nuclear armageddon upon the earth.

I think He is loving, fair and omnipotent. He gave us free will, it is our choice to do or not to do things, and decide how they are done or not done. We are responsible for ourselves and what choices we make. He's not the Wizard of Oz, nor is He an eye watching and waiting for us to screw up so he can zap up with a cattle prod.

God is loving, fair, and awesome and more than that he is a god of justice and when we are judged it will be fair. God will judge us according to our works and deeds. If your deeds are good you will be rewarded with everlasting life. But if your works are evil then your reward is eternity in hale.
