Good point. Never really thought of that one. People always argue about the animals, but everyone forgets the plants.

No one saved the plants. They all died in the flood, including everyone not on the ark. However, Noah took with him food, water, seed for planting, so when the flood receded, he planted grape vines first. The rain lasted 40 days and 40 nights, and the water didn't go down for another 8 months or so, and by the end of the year the land had dried out, so all those plants that survived the flood grew back on the earth.

Religion is for people with blind faith. Religion flew planes into towers. Science flew us to the moon. I believe no man on earth knows what God wants or our origin. To pretend you do makes you either an idiot or a liar. I don't care what the bible says. Moses talked to a burning bush, parted the red sea, Noah built a boat .....that to actually work the way the bible says....had to be 3 football fields big....made of wood....you would have to be stupid to believe such fantasy. Embrace the hell out of it and go to church...that way I know who all the cattle are. Dinosaurs would have shredded your stupid adem and eve. Dumb sheep. Dumb sheep. Go find your shepherd. Idiots.haha.. I'm not sorry. If your offended at all then you yourself have a small IQ. No buggy. You already know the answer to life from your bible. So you can stop looking for the real one. Santa Claus and the Easter bunny also lived on the ark.. The end.

The flood did indeed occur but on a more local scale, as it has affected mainly coastal areas. And since there is no real differences in the plants distributions between coastal area and inland areas, then, it would have been useless to save them...

Assuming that Noah did build an arc ... (yeah right)
There is evidence of the flood though.
Evolution allowed these plants to live... so did the animal excrement (which had seeds in it).... (i am making this up as i go along).
I have no idea.

When Noah took the animals he took from each a couple, so they don't get extinct, but plants??? We know that they have seeds, so do seeds die if they were put in water for an hour?

Of course there are a lot of qualified Botanists here that seem to believe that plants drown. Tell me, does New Orleans have any lawns any more, or are they instinct?

Good question. I'm sure you'll get some Christian drivel that explains everything. Truth is, there was no flood. The entire idea is one of the more fantastic scenarios that Christians believe in.

I can barely keep my lawn alive. How can plants survive when they are out of their environment and totally neglected, with extreme weather conditions, world wide apparently?
