But I dont call them anything but my grandchildren which are my heart and when they were little they used to ask me what color they were and I most of the time told them half black and half white and that they were the color God made them to be. hugs

There are different ethnic slang names people give to mixed breed Afro-Americans that I have heard. Malotten is one and if they are light skinned, they are called red boned. Some of the most beautiful humans bodies and some of the smartest people on earth are mixed but who's counting.

If I knew their name I'd call them that. I know someone who is half Black and half Italian and I call him Jovani cause it's his name. I'm Mexican, White and Indian and most people call me Chuy. The Spanish term is mulato, but I consider it derogatory because it literally means "muled" or crossed.
