The word came in the flesh to tell us what we ougth to do. He gave light to men and women, but the people loved darkness instead of light. The fact though is the word was sacrficed for our sins. And Yahweh sent His only beggoten son that who ever beliveth in Him shall not pareish but have ever lasting life.

Wasn't Mithras a savior god as well? The story of the sacrificed god is way older than Jesus. Why should I believe the Jesus story anymore than the others. I think they have significance to the human psyche, but I don't believe they actually happened.

A bloke called Jesus may have died on a cross at some point in time, it isn't impossible. Not a son of any god, or god himself though

No, I'm fairly certain Jesus wasn't even thinking about me as he hung in agony on the cross. I'm sure he wasn't thinking about me at all.
