The reason I ask is yesterday I caught a glimpse of a black car outside my work place that I've never seen before. When I looked again, it was gone. I have ESP, though not very well developed, and I've had a bad feeling ever since I saw the strange vehicle. I work nights and the building my one co-worker and I clean is on the edge of town and it's about a hundred feet or so away from the road. Whether there was someone really sneaking around or the image of the car was just a bad sign of something that is going to happen it's had me on edge ever since then.

Yep, I saw that too. I think Kyle said he would take a hundred dollar bill cut in half before qualifying, and then come back for the other half when he was done. LOL! But yeah, Jr.asking for two twenties and a ten instead of the fifty was pretty funy. Didn't DW say that David Pearson back in the day, would not touch a fifty dollar bill, or come anywhere near a poker table if they were betting in fifty dollar increments if it was before a race? It was something like that. Anyway, I have never heard of that superstition or any other before today. It was pretty funny. Add: Hey thanks! I like how much more relaxed and verbal the drivers are during qualifying interviews. So much better than during or after a race when they have to literally watch every word they say, and or it can sound almost scripted.

If you have any form of esp you would know that the color black is not a bad omen... And You should know that the color black is suppose to be invisible and go un-notice Also you should know how hard it is to describe a white man wearing a black suit or driving a black car....... And the men in black and our government use that color for that exact purpose..... It more of a psychologial ploy then anything else.... And its just a tool to use against racist for alll that they will remember after all is said and done is the color black... So if it worked on you and created such a negitive response then my friend you are a racist................. Because they only use that ploy against white people... And I have yet to see any white man dressed in black to be describe correctly.... And that is why our government still continue to push racial differences... Now if you think that I am wrong put yourself thru any test and see how well you can describe a white man in a black suit or driving a black car.................................................

In superstition its not the colour alone, its a series of triggers. Normally a small black cat which crosses your path is considered unlucky (Though i am sure a LONG time ago it was actually good luck?)

Also, a large black dog seen on the end of a bed is considered a bad omen and means someone close will pass away soon. The dog is normally known as Padfoot in England.

Black is not a color in the electromagnetic spectrum.

Relax, there are no bad omens or good omens.

The only time to consider the color black as a precursor of something bad about to happen is when it's a black blindfold somebodies about to tie over your eyes.

I worked at a school in Hawaii where the principal basically tried to "outlaw" the color black because he said that it was both evil and gang related. He didn't want the school band to have clarinet players because the instrument is mostly black.

The interesting concept in all of this is the school's name, which translates to "The pathway to death."
The school was built next to a cemetery. GO FIGURE.

No, nothing to it. The entire concept of bad omens, like religion, is just something made up to control people.
