Does anyone realize that thousands of people in america die everyday because they don't have health care insurance. Why are people not outraged by this type of injustice. Has the american public become so numb to what is going on in this country that they will not speak out about anything. I have been a member of the army reserve for fourteen years, and back in 2004 I was mobilized to go to iraq. At this particular time I had what is called a femorial hernia my job did not provide me with medical insurance, and the national guard refused to give me the surgery. They were in effect saying you are good to die in combat but not good enough for us to fix your medical problem. You see people every day that have served this country getting scrwed, and no one seems to care it is really sad. but these same people cant' wait to here about people like britney spears, or paris hilton, or lindsey lohan or some other celebrity who has not done anything for anyone. people are so blind and nieve
