I have an empty cup on my desk. Prove to me that God exists by having him fill it with water. Then I'll believe. It should be a simple enough task for a God. I'm not asking for wine or a new car. Books and dreams of God are not enough for me to believe. I want to see actual proof.

set apart: Of course. If its done right before my eyes, without any physical help done by another human or myself, I'll believe.

Prove to me the Big Bang happened, prove evolution is more than just a theory, prove love exist, prove Lindsay Lohan will stay sober, prove God exist, prove God doesn't exist...

All have no absolute proof that would satisfy all human's minds.

First of all, you are assuming that God is your personal butler. That is not the God of Christianity, so that is not an adequate test.

There are some proofs that we Christians use. First, the Cosmological Proof, which says that the universe is such that it has a definite beginning and thus a causal event. that causal event would have to be something outside of our normal linear time and could not be the result of natural forces.

The second is the Moral Proof. This one states that we have an innate sense of what evil is. The existence of objective moral evil is contingent upon the existence of objective moral good. And there cannot be objective moral good without a source for moral good that lies outside of humankind. Therefore, evil is proof of the existence of good, good is proof of the existence of God, and thus evil is proof of the existence of God.

A third proof is called Fine Tuning. The world in which we live in is so precisely tuned to conditions suitable for life, it is statistically impossible for them to have come about as a result of undirected chance occurrence.

Please note that I took a very broad view of Deism in general, not specifically my own faith, which is Christian. Below I have a few links to sources that might help to explain the proofs mentioned here.

OK-you say you dont believe that God exists because you cant see a human form. Do you have a brain? Prove it. You cant, because you cant see it. Does that mean you dont have a brain? Can you admit that there are some things in life we will never be able to understand? And-while you're at it-can you give other people the right to believe even if you dont? I wont try to convince you there is a God if you stop trying to convince me there isnt. The proof is in your corner-not mine. You prove God doesnt exist and I'll get back to you.

This controversy has gone on for centuries, And it will probably be going on long after your gone. Examine your body, all the marvels of the world, How else could such things have come into being? I am sure that didn't do it for you but I thought I would try.

You could not get God off your mind if you tried, that is your proof. If there is no God then never discuss the topic again. You can't do it. There is no tooth fairy and I have not talked about ti since I was 5.

When God sent His Son, Jesus performed miracles so everyone would know He was the true Christ. That is all recorded in the Bible, and that is what God gave us. If you can't/won't believe in the Bible and God. God won't do magic tricks for you (Luke 4:12 -- And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, "Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.") You have to have faith to believe. That's what faith is all about. Once we tell you about God, it's in your hands. All we can do now is pray for you.

Psalm 14:1a -- The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God."

GOD does exits how do you think the universe was made.BY the big bang theory how can a destructive force create.Howdo you think we came into being by evolution if so why are not more monkeys evoling into humansand why are not the rest of the animals/fish/plants evoling into better species to protect themselves from humankind.Plus I know God is real by faith and the new peace/joy/love I have in my entire being which comes from god.

You know..back in the day when God use to come down to earth and talk to his people through Moses and burning bushes and such..He scared the living daylights out of those people..He stopped doing those things, because they were worshiping him out of fear. But if they didn't hear from him for awhile..They would start sinning big time again..so he would come back down and they would all be good and they were afraid..Then..that is when he came down to earth as a man..Jesus Christ..to show his love for us..to relate to us on a human level..and we can relate to him as well..

Anyway..If you were to pray to God and tell him that you want to trust in him..believe in him..as ask God to help you with that..he will.. Invite Jesus into your life..through a simple prayer..Just pray..God..I believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and i want him in my life. (if you don't believe..just pray that he will show you how to believe.)..You will be amazed at what happens..
I know you will give me some slack for this answer..but its true..When God comes into your life..You feel him..You actually feel him operating in your life.

He could come down today and fill up that cup of water..If he wanted too. He could do that and so much more..If he wanted to. But, right now God is silent..He is waiting for his creation to show their trust in him..and their faith in him. He wants us to love him and trust him without all of this proof that people want..

Some one else also requested water. Jesus asked a Samaritan woman to 'give him a drink'.
"If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'give me water', you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water".
The water you are requesting, will ease your thirst for a short time. But the water God can give you will come from a fountain that will give you everlasting life.

If it's not God's will to fill that cup, He will not fill it. If it is His will, He will do it. I cannot make God do anything. He is the almighty God.

Secondly, He knows exactly how to reach you and when you acknowledge Him, trust me, you won't need to have a cup filled with water to be able to tell that He is real. Just wait.....

God has already proven Himself. I pray that the cover be moved from your eyes so that you can truly see Him, everywhere.

Love........

P.S. K716, several answers below mine, is definitely speaking the Word of God. Thanks sister.
