God, big topic in just about everyone eyes. all religions seem to hate or despise all others and even the ones that don't have one. it makes me sick to my stomach to see this. what the hell is the big problem? at the end it's not going to matter anyway

Wow now thats a generalization there if Ive ever seen one. I dont know what religions you have been looking at but Christianity doesnt consist of anything you have stated. The big problem is without Jesus Christ you will go to Hell. No ifs, ands or buts about it. He says He is the Way the Truth and the Light no man comes to the Father except through Me. Pretty straight forward. Before you go on a rampage about Christianity. Think of those who claim it. Do you really see it in their lives? Im 6'5 weigh 245 and am a world class bodybuilder millionaire. Get what Im saying? I think so. Take care and Peace out.................

Religion has turned God into a competitive business and the followers don't realize it. Today's , "We are the true religion" frenzy is really religion salesmanship in disguise. Does God really care what ceremony or day a person uses for worship? It's starting to look like the real anti-Christ is Religion.

It is simple. Most of the fighting and disagreement in this world is over religion. You have so many different religions and everyone feels like theres is the true religion and theres is superior to the other persons.
Rid the world of religion and you will rid the world of a lot of fighting and anger.

I'm going to tell the truth here when I say I'm not an atheist. I'm agnostic. Meaning I don't know and I don't want to know. I just want to live on with my life until death. But I would say its more of a mad world. Like the song. It is quite sickening. But its said that its our nature to kill ourselves and kill each other. Also like another song.

No... not a sad world. It's sad that there's so much suffering in it, but there's so much POTENTIAL! Altruism, wisdom and compassion are but a few of the keys to ending what you perceive as "sad". Let's work on it together, shall we?

That's the problem -- too many people think religion DOES matter.
We (atheists) are here trying to show these people that life is not a dress rehearsal for something bigger later on.
