A central thing I have noticed is that respect seems to be pivotal within their culture. Respect is often given before one even knows the individual one is talking to. Growing up in the states ar at least Az I have found that respect is given only after one has proven themself.
Could this difference in culture be somewhat to blame for many of the issues now dividing the world?

...that all non-Christians are doomed to eternal damnation? What happens to someone of a different religion who doesn't accept the Christian Savior? Do you think such people can be considered good? Do you think God will punish them for a belief or lack of one?

Some of us think that we are in constant development towards greater spiritual heights, others feel that we are living the dark age and the end is near.

What is your opinion ?

Why is it that Black People can say the "N Word" but White People cannot? You know it's true. Chris Rock actually said something about it once.

we just moved to this apartment and since day one she seemed to really like it but as each day passes she seems more and more terrified by the bedroom. Now she wont let me out of sight anywhere in the apartment and just screams when I do. My husband and I both feel, for other reasons as well, that the apartment is haunted. What are your oppinions? Has this happened to you? Should I be concerned?

Probably something like "You guys never listen!" It's not the temples or the churches, or the argument over semantics. Its all about the heart. Christians today are the same as the Scribes and Pharassies from the bible, I'm not even Christian and I see this. Well, Jesus is my bud, I just don't worship him.

I found it hard to word this question to be honest.
But the Bible is based (if not actually written) on a society that ran 2000 years ago, thus alot of the basic idea's do not nesecerraly apply in today's day and age.
Should the bible be altered to reflect these changes in society? or should it be labeled a book of the past with how things were done then, simply as a guide for key issues (i.e. thou shalt not kill etc)
