Well I was raised Christian, but now that im getting older, Im not so much believing it. Christian is a man made religion, as as many other religions. So im doubting and questioning many things about Christianity. The Bible was written by man so you know it can be fully accurate. Im so confused on whether at this point im atheist, agnostic, or whatever. I just dont know anymore. I just know im not Christian.

Someone told me 'everyone' hides sexual abuse in churches and she (yes she) said this specifically included the victims! Are people not concerned by how little the church and its followers understand child psychology?

Why do we have to drag churches AND their followers kicking and screaming into the Courts just to get justice?

i have some speculations about life before the Flood:

- the ozone layer is different in the ancient days.
- the level of oxygen is different
- the free radicals are absent or in smaller amounts
- the early Mankind was very intelligent, much more intelligent than modern day man.
- the early Man worshipped one God, but later became polytheists.
- the Flood changed much of the earth - leading to many illnesses and curses
- Noah cursed his son Ham, the forefather of the Africans. Maybe that is why Africa is quite barren nowadays. It was because of one righteous person's curse.
- Adam was very handsome, intelligent and God fearing. He had great knowlege.

Christians, what do you think? Atheists, please DO NOT answer.

if you are willing to take a stance on issues like abortion as being simply liberal and claim it's one's own choice when it involves a life of an unborn baby (i don't see how child molestation is any worse - anyone willing to take a stance on this as being liberal?) why not do the same for religious beliefs? why not consider the possibility of existence of God as being right?

Maybe I'm blowing things out of proportion, but my coworker keeps telling me personal stuff about his life (I dont wanna hear aobut it). He is 35 and confiding in a 20 year old(me) about his friends, family, and sex life. The thing that freaks me out is that he looks really old which makes the situation very uncomfortable/makes me wanna gag.
This is how he kinda looks like:

I'm one of those people who are willing to listen to others problems from time to time but I just think it's too much info from him.

No one can hear how people pronounced words back then, so what method(s) do linguists use to determine that there was a vowel shift in English between 1200 and 1600 (or whenever it was)?

Maybe I’m not giving Christians enough credit. I mean, pretty soon, it’s going to be like a person with water up to their neck saying, “The boat is not sinking.” This surely can’t be easy to do…

What is your take on this?

"Is There Creation? Or Evolution? Or Both?

Quran Teaches - BOTH!

It says, "Allah is - Al Khaliq" (The Creator)
It also says, "Allah is - Al Bari" (The Evolver)

For the Muslim there is no need for separation between religion and science. It is understood from the Quran, revealed over 1,400 years ago, that there is both; "Creation" and "Evolution." And in both instances, it is only Allah who is "Able to do all things." In fact, it was the Muslim scientists, more than 1,000 years ago, who set the stage for the adancement of learning, technology and disciplines in science that we know today."

The literal interpretation of scripture is only advocated by a Cult that claims to be the only true saved Christians. Millions of Christians would differ including the Catholics who in their heyday were the fundamentalist jerks of the Dark Ages.

I wouldn't venture to guess how the universe came to be the way it is. There are plenty of competent scientists working on that and other questions. I certainly wouldn't involve a morality parable in any conjectures, no more than I would use the parable of Sodom and Gomorrah to decide how God feels about gays.

Most of the rhetoric from this Luddite group is indicative of a group of psychologically disenfranchised individuals with authority issues. They misunderstand that when Jesus spoke of the Word of God he refers to himself and his followers. The children of God are the “Living Word of God.” These cultists worship the Bible as if it’s a part of the Godhead.

I am South American and I recently went to the US on a business trip and to be honest I was very dissapointed with the quality of women you find there.

FAT: I've never seen so many whales in my life

EASY: it only takes a foreign accent and two drinks and you have landed yourself an American woman in bed.

NOT CULTURED: I could not find a single woman who I could discuss current issues, world affairs or cultural stuff with!! brain dead.... in Europe you always fins these hot girls ready to have interesting debates with you, in America on the other hand it seems most women couldn't find their own state on a US map.

SLOPPY DRESSERS: what's up with so many fat girls letting their huge bellys hanging with those tiny shirts at the malls? do they think that is sexy?

honestly I didn't know women were so ugly over there, now I understand American men going abroad in massive numbers looking for wives.

A. Sub-sahara Africans (black people)

B. Australian Aboriginies (natives of Australia)

C. Native Americans (also known as American Indians)

It would have to be one of these 3...so which one do you think...I think the Native Americas would be a little less because of what the Incas and Mayas had did.

well then there would be no God, and space would have always had to of existed, atheists say "alright well if you can believe that there is a God, and he has always been existing, why can't space have been that way, instead of being created?" well, is it not true that life can only come from previous life? when scientists clone something , they take dna from something that was previously living or still is, so if space has always been there, and space is not living, how are we in existance today? i know some people will get hostile, even though this is a(n) honest question, but try to keep your calm
