Most people will say "you will go to hell if you don't pray for forgiveness" but I think if your not completely evil, you won't go to hell, I think about 99% of people to get to heaven. Everyone makes mistakes and I don't think God is evil enough to send you to hell just for breaking one commandment, unless you murdered 39 people and drank their blood or something really evil.

To break one of the Ten Commandments is to commit sin.
If you break one you break them all. Example: If you look at another woman with lust you are committing adultery. So everyone will break at least one commandment and more than once. Jesus is the redeemer for those who accept him as their Savior. Yes Christians will commit sin and break a commandment.
In effect the Ten Commandments are the way to Jesus because you realize you cannot do it by your self. When you walk with God you strive to not Sin and turn from sinful ways.

You can set yourself up for destuction. Not immediately, but if you continue, eventually.
(2 Peter 3:9) Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.

I ask forgiveness and repent and I am forgiven. We need to obey also laws of men so we might end up in jail when we break a commandment. Commandments are designed to protect us. : )

Your conscience will bother you, because you know you did something wrong, until you repent and do your best not to do it again. If you choose not to listen to your conscience and recognize/admit to yourself that you did something wrong, you will most likely end up doing it again and again. Each time you tune out your conscience you will feel less and less guilt about doing the wrong thing, until you end up living a totally wrong lifestyle with no remorse.

Loverboy,
It is important that you keep the New Testament and NOT the OLD TESTAMENT commands. Christ came to fulfill the Old Law. We are living under the New Testament times. Make sure that you are not breaking any of man's laws also. Have a nice weekend.
Thanks,
Eds

Nothing, unless you break a civil law that happens to overlap a commandment. But hey, you can take the lord's name in vain all you want with absolutely no repercussions.

You have to break the other nine or demons will drag you to heaven where you will have to listen to Christians quoting the Bible for the rest of eternity.

If you kill someone or steal from them, you risk getting arrested because those things are against the law. If you cheat on your wife, she could divorce you.
Other than that, nothing... they are just some rules thought up by some religious guy to keep you in line. Show them you don't need their commandments by being a good, law-abiding citizen without the need for some superstitious fairy tale rules.
