i have some speculations about life before the Flood:

- the ozone layer is different in the ancient days.
- the level of oxygen is different
- the free radicals are absent or in smaller amounts
- the early Mankind was very intelligent, much more intelligent than modern day man.
- the early Man worshipped one God, but later became polytheists.
- the Flood changed much of the earth - leading to many illnesses and curses
- Noah cursed his son Ham, the forefather of the Africans. Maybe that is why Africa is quite barren nowadays. It was because of one righteous person's curse.
- Adam was very handsome, intelligent and God fearing. He had great knowlege.

Christians, what do you think? Atheists, please DO NOT answer.

Yeah, Noah cursed Ham's son. Noah did not curse Ham. I have from two Christian sources that the descendants of Canaan settled in Canaan and also migrated to Africa.

You have an interesting imagination dear and you seem to like those bronze age middle eastern goat herders fairy tales.

Have you tried reading "Lord Of The Rings" ? I am sure you will like it also.

Lovely! Do you have anything to back up any of these ideas? (Mythology not accepted as proof) The claims you have just made are nothing more than your own speculations, but if they were to be passed on orally from generation to generation in the manner that ancient legends were, eventually they too would become accepted as divine and factual truths, just the same as the Genesis story that you accept as truth. Whether its you or an ancient scribe recording his people's history, "this is what I think" is not a sound basis for truth. There's no room for fuzzy thinking and uncertainty when putting forth any claim as true. "Just the facts, M'am".

I suppose I'll sound like a whiner for saying I know that you will not heed a single word I've written here. I doubt that you're capable of getting out of the biblical mindset that clouds your reasoning. Like almost any believer, you want your story to be true so badly that you will tell yourself abolutely anything to prove that it is.

Ozone and oxygen...The world of those days had no industrial pollution...that we know of.

Bible says that in those days, it did not rain as we know it.
(Genesis 2:5-6) Now there was as yet no bush of the field found in the earth and no vegetation of the field was as yet sprouting, because Jehovah God had not made it rain upon the earth and there was no man to cultivate the ground. 6 But a mist would go up from the earth and it watered the entire surface of the ground.

The Bible does not say anything further until the account of the flood.
It does not say that any form of boat existed.
It DOES say that men lived very long lives. Genesis ch. 5
Jesus was created perfect, but became imperfect after sinning/disobeying God. His offspring would also have been imperfect, yet they lived long lives.
From the days of the writer of Psalms, King David, he stated;
(Psalm 90:10) In themselves the days of our years are seventy years; And if because of special mightiness they are eighty years, Yet their insistence is on trouble and hurtful things; For it must quickly pass by, and away we fly.
And things have remained consistent since then..

And men in those days would have been very intelligent. Just how did they build the monuments we see today...The pyramids. Macchu picchu, and other large stone edifices/. Even with modern equipment, we cannot duplicate these feats.
Man was monotheist. (Genesis 4:26) And to Seth also there was born a son and he proceeded to call his name E′nosh. At that time a start was made of calling on the name of Jehovah.

then;(Genesis 6:1) Now it came about that when men started to grow in numbers on the surface of the ground and daughters were born to them,

The rest of chapter 6 says about the NEPHILIM, an abomination to God.
(Genesis 6:13) After that God said to Noah: “The end of all flesh has come before me, because the earth is full of violence as a result of them; and here I am bringing them to ruin together with the earth.

(Genesis 6:17) “And as for me, here I am bringing the deluge of waters upon the earth to bring to ruin all flesh in which the force of life is active from under the heavens. Everything that is in the earth will expire.

(Genesis 7:20) Up to fifteen cubits the waters overwhelmed them and the mountains became covered.
The mountains of those days were not necessarily as high as the ones we see today.
But the whole earth was covered. This much water must have altered the earth. We see what damage that local floods do.
As to the curse.

(Genesis 9:24-26) Finally Noah awoke from his wine and got to know what his youngest son had done to him. 25 At this he said: “Cursed be Ca′naan. Let him become the lowest slave to his brothers.” 26 And he added: “Blessed be Jehovah, Shem’s God, And let Ca′naan become a slave to him.

Canaan was Shem's son.
So it seems the offspring of Shem had a lower ranking.
But in these days, the situation has changed.

(Acts 10:34-35) At this Peter opened his mouth and said: “For a certainty I perceive that God is not partial, 35 but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.

Yes everything you said is pretty much correct. Since the flood mans lifespan has decreced, and now we only live average of 80 years. The moisture in the air is different, thinner, and the ozone effects us more.
Yes Africa was cursed.
Are you LDS? lol. I am.
Everything you said is pretty scientific, but there is only speculation, not really any fact. But if you think about it, pretty obvious.

The only thing that matter is that you focus on Life After Death! If you are not prepared to meet God when you die then everything learned about life before the flood is in vain.

i don't think human down fall is due to physical change in our ozone layer (which I did consider as you do as being different pre-noah). it is satan and humans inevitable course without worshiping God.
