Why do we (Christians) care what atheists have to say about our faith if we believe why must we know why everyone else doesn't?

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love- John 4:7-8

This quote says love, and so, why is it that gay people are shunned?

To follow up on this, why do the passages saying God does not like gays override what God says about love? and finally, does god want us to hate more than love?

In the second book of enoch it says that Enoch was transformed into the archangel Metron, which could explain the "translation", or better yet " transformation"...

I believe that God is all-powerful--in fact, all-everything (omnific). If you agree, then why would you or I question that anything could possibly happen that God was not willing to have happen? Cheers.

I have seen a bible from 100 yrs ago and there are many verses that have completely changed meanings.....

There are many versions and clearly the translations have different meanings.

i mailed out an envelope to taiwan a couple of days ago and i wasnt sure wether i had to put any foreign postage on it or not, so i dropped it in the mailbox with just one u.s stamp on it..just as you would mailing it to someone in the u.s. im not sure if they are going to return it to me, or just send it out, im not too familiar with international mail, its been about 6 days and the person still has not recieved the letter...anything i did wrong?

Why each of us has different fingerprints? First humans had same fingerprint or iris structure, and because of the conditions on earth they all died and only the ones having different fingerprints could survive? Or someone who would like to introduce His Knowledge, omnipotence and individual care for each of us has been creating every baby as different from all other 6-7 billion human?
Having different fingerprints is against the logic of evolution because we could survive without different fingerprints, We do not need it for our life.... All the best

I was just reading Thomas S's question about the hypothetical draft situation, and I was wondering why if you tell that you are gay you can get kicked out of the military?

Is there an actual reason or are they just discriminating against gays?

He's 15. He has a strict and domineering family upbringing. Really low self esteem. And has tried real hard to get it up for women with moderate results. He wants me to help him be more of a man, meeting chicks, doing guy type of things since he doesn't get out much.

Is it not great how the Lord loves us past our short comings and sees us for the potential that He is working on in us. Even at our present state or where we were before we accepted Christ into our heart, God is awesome.
Just a reminder to spend time in God's word with great wisdom at our finger tips, the gospels . I love the red text (print) myself. How about you? Are you spending to much time in this forum and not enough time in God's word?

Praise the Lord for our salvation and share the good news with all that will listen and hear His voice.

I mean have you read anything about it from the books? Or do you believe everything you hear on tv or from racist and stereotyped people around you?
I'm an Australian Muslim. I'm not covered and i dont pray 5 times a day - but i believe in Allah. I respect all religions in this world, but i cant understand why no one respects Islam.

1.How can a soul, which has no physical properties, actully burn in Hell?
2.With nothing to burn, how can there be fire in Hell?
3.How can anything burn forever without being consumed? Even stars consume their fuel?
