I have searched for this recitor but it seems like hardly anybody knows of him.

There's this on line prayer site (http://theopenprayer.com/) where people pray for all kinds of things but quite a few people pray to lose weight. Who believes that? shouldn't they rather just start jogging or swimming or cycling? or eat less? if you sat around thinking about losing weight all day its not gonna make you thin! God can do anything, I know, but I think they should pull their own weight around a bit as well!

I'm really not sure.

I mean, Hollywood Boulevard is DIRTY! It's a dusty, grimy place not at all like the way it is portrayed on TV. Where exactly is the America we see in the movies?

Maybe I'm being unfair - I live in the UK - but I don't get it.

It's a place divided up into 50 different little Countries with wildly differing laws and I'm not even sure it qualifies as a First World Country anyway: Poverty and mass unemployment, a collapsed healthcare system (unless you have money) and an epidemic of violent crime.

Where's all the good stuff?

Ok. this has been asked before but the answers were a little inconclusive.

More than half of the gay guys I know speak melodically and almost elegantly, and have lisps.
I feel rude asking them why.

Any theories?

why didnt i die when i had my appendix out when i was eleven?? we dont need it. so why did god put it there? if you say because the cave men used to eat raw meat or whatever but we dont use it now isnt that basically admitting to evolution? thanks

What's the difference between cold and cool? For example,
(cold cloudy day). And also I found (cool cloudy day)
(cold rainy day) and (cool rainy day)
(cold windy day) and (cool windy day). I know they are both correct. But what's the difference? When do we say cold and when do we say cool? Thanks a lot

During primary school this lad used to hang out with me and my group of friends which were all girls. I thought this was a bit strange and he also seemed very camp! We're still friends now but he hangs out with another bunch of girls at school. Ever since i met him i was determined for him to admit he was gay cos i could just tell! Recently we got closer and i started to change my mind even though he was still showing elements of him being gay. But the other week he came out but i found out off a friend and now i'm confused why he didn't tell me first! Anways i told him that i knew the other day and he seemed happy with his sexuality and i was so happy for him and i asked him why he didn't tell me - cos we told each other most things - but he blanked me and talked about something else.
