The lake of fire burns with theion (brimstone.) Theion is the divine.
The old testament says that God is a consuming fire. All who sin must die what the old testament says.
So, Saul died, converted and became Paul.
I posted on my 360 blog the inspiration for this question.
Consider:
1 Timothy 2:3-4 says,
"For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."

I'm saying that Saul "died", that is sinner and persecuter Saul was thrown in the cleansing "lake of fire" and emerged as Paul - that is, conformed to the image of Christ.

quite the opposite, actually. read 2 corinthians 12:2. paul is speaking of himself, bragging about God giving him secret knowledge, and a ''tour'' of the third heaven. the third heaven is the new heaven spoken of in the book of revelation. the second earth and the second heaven are the one we're a part of. i found that out recently and it blew my mind...

Are you saying that Saul of the old testament died and became Paul? Or Saul of the new testament died and became Paul? The bible says no one will be thrown into the lake of fire until the second resurrection at the end of the age so he definitely didn't experience the "lake of fire". Are you asking if the light he saw on the road to Damascus was God in the form of fire?

Gen. 17:5; 32:28; 2 Kings 23:34; Acts 9:4; 13:9 - as an occasion, in those verses, we see that God variations right here human beings's names and, as a effect, they exchange into particular brokers of God: Abram to Abraham; Jacob to Israel, Eliakim to Jehoiakim, Saul to Paul.

No, Saul didn't die, when his donkey talked to him on the road to Daascus where he was going to persecute more followers of Jesus he fell off and was struck blind. The story is in Acts I think but his conversion was clouded by his past and only when he changed his name as an act of contritness was he accepted by some, never by all. Unlike any of the other writers in the New Testament he himself passed judgments on others according to his beliefs, not Gods inspiration.

I read your blog, and it was powerful.
Yes Soul suffered and died to self, and when he rose from that hell, he lived for the true WILL of the living GOD.
I have told people, of Romans 14:11 and Believe we are all going to come to GOD'S WILL eventually, we can suffer by refusal or come willingly in any way we chose to come to the truth, the TRUTH will be known by ALL.
I believe that the Ark that Noah built by GOD'S instructions, is still on the Mount Ararat . and when the fourth vial is poured upon the sun to scorch men for their sins, and Mount Ararat melts and the Ark falls upon their heads will they believe then?
Gen 8:3-5 ( Mountains of Ararat)
3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.
Rev. 16:8 (Fourth Vial)
" 8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
GOD wants all mankind to come willingly to HIS truth, so that NONE of us suffer what Satan is truly offering, lies and manipulations by the twisting of GOD'S TRUTH.
Please people what do you really have to lose, but ALL that pain and baggage that you carry around, it is what binds you to the way things are in your life, it is what holds you back from what will bring you the happiness that you truly seek.

No, Paul suffered from schizophrenia as a result of being stoned (NDE, saw "lights", met "christ" and went to "heaven"). Also, he probably only wrote about 2 of the letters attributed to him, the rest are written in his name and who knows by whom.
