God offers peace to all of us, wealthy or poor.
When we count on God, regardless of what happens in life, regardless of what we have or do not have, the peace of God can be ours.

~peace~

The road of faith leads to God and therefore to peace!

Not necessarily and always. If people of equally strong faiths but of differing views clash, there can only be conflict and not peace.Remember, all the Christian wars and Jihads for Islam were fought by people with equally strong faiths and resulted in to untold bloodshed and sufferings.Faith can be defined as a beliefs not based on logical proof or material evidence.A set of such beliefs form faith and need not always pertain to God.sorry to point out as it seems that you had something else on your mind.

According to human history, relgion has never promoted peace, even among the followers of the same, let alone those who did not follow a certain faith system, etc.
The Jews slaughtered whole peoples and cultures as "god YHWH" gave them the "Holy Land".
Christains salughtered and destroyed whole cultures and peoples as they colonized the world and brought "salavation" with them, all in the name of the "prince of peace".
Muslims have practiced jihad not as a personal spiritual battle (i.e., the true meaning of the term) but as a manner by which to acquire land and goods and to convert the infidels, although the same is strictly forbidden in the Holy Qur'an and was never allowed by the Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, his family and his followers, during his own lifetime.
Hindus, Sihks, Shintos and on and on have done the same.

Besides the destruction these various religions have vested upon those outside of their faiths, they have also done the same to members of their own faith.
The Jew divided into different sects of Judaism, fighting each other for control of Israel and the right to proclaim their chosen representative as the rightful king.
The Christians divided into different sects before the original generation of followers of Jesus had even died! The Latin rite fought the Eastern rite. The Catholics fought and still fight the Protestants, who fought and still fight the Cathoics. The Protestants fought and fight among themselves, etc., etc., etc.
Muslims have divided into two main factions (Shia and Sunni) as well as many other smaller groups and are busily slaughtering one another to this very day.
Hindu sects have fought each other, and still fight one another throughout their various histories.
All of these different sects of each particular faith system have been all too glad to use violence towards their "brothers and sisters" so as to prove that their personal concept of "god" is the correct and only correct one and so as to thereby assist those they were/are attacking to convert to the "true faith".

"Peaceful religions", like "military intelligence", "legal ethics" and "common sense" seldom, if ever, go togehter.

Please to read history with a less biased view and with no overt religious preferrence.

No, religion/faith has never shown itself nor proven itself to be the "road to peace". It has shown itself to be just the opposite.

May it all be well with you.

You've answered you own question. but I beg to differ. There are so many religions with different beliefs about God and it creates much conflict in our world. I believe we could have a peaceful world without religion.

Yes, He does give us peace. But He also sends tribulation or troubles into our lives to make us grow and have more peace.
