Why do we (Christians) care what atheists have to say about our faith if we believe why must we know why everyone else doesn't?

Great question and thumbs up to Ree Ree. I don't understand people who live their whole lives trying to convert others or worrying about what other people believe in. I know my way is the right way for me. I would never think that I know the right way for everyone, and I do not deny anyone the right to believe what they want, as long as it does not harm others or infringe on their rights.

On a scale of 1 to 10, what an atheists thinks about religion doesn't rate a 1. I can't understand why they're so pre-occupied with God. That's very hypocritical. To say you don't believe something then spend time commenting on it.

I've asked myself that question many times.

The only time a christian gets all up in arms, is when I say I don't believe in their god. Up to that point, they have no problem that I am not a buddhist, nor a Hindu, nor a Muslim....and that I don't believe in whichever deities or devas that they wish to worship.

But say I don't believe in the christian god, and well, forget it. I'm doomed, to listen to a sermon...

You may also need to begin to "care" what Pagans are saying. The network of religions under the Pagan umbrella name is the fastest growing religion in the USA. Christianity is striving mightily just to hold onto its young people and young families.

Well, we don't care, but also, we don't want lies to be spread by one who is clueless, and there are some like that out there.
why must we know why everyone else doesn't? we don't.

I don't care what they have to say about Christians. I used to say some stupid things myself before I got saved..I do however, care about them as a person who needs God..

That's what I've been wondering for ages. Why does anyone really care? If it doesn't affect your life, why waste the time worrying about what I believe in?

That's what I would like to know. The lack of belief seems to make some people terribly angry.
